Italy-Verona gig review
(I forgot, pictures here www.jamirolife.cjb.net)
Ok so here I am after the rainiest gig I've ever had (and the band has ever had, Jay said), in fact it was raining quite a lot, not for the entire show
anyway.
that's the setlist, more or less...:
- 2001
- Cosmic Girl
- Main Vein
- Love Foolosophy
- Canned Heat
- Titan AE (electro tune)
- Blue Danube
- Bad Girls
- Corner Of The Earth
- Little L
- High Times
- Virtual Insanity
- Deeper Underground
- Alright
- Love foolosophy (for the encore, 10 min.!)
after 2001 jay confirmed that the show was been filmed for a live dvd. the show was great, jay was really in the mood and he was smiling and dancing all the time, he was very happy with the audience, that was very warm in spite of rain. the front extension of the stage was full of water like a pool and jay enjoyed himself sliding with his shoes and even with his full body like a dolphin!! . for the encore the band played LF again, but with lots of stops and reprises, I think was about 10 minutes long!
anyway I hoped that for the special event for the dvd they played something old, or maybe with the presence of the brass section, but in fact it was more or less like a standard 2002 european date (beverly knight was on stage for the usual songs).

Hi Paul,
I saw the pictures on your site.
The one with you, Matteo and Emanuele makes me very envious. I think I recognize the row of houses in front of Arena of Verona....
Wish I could have been there!
Judging from the photods, you guys must have been quite close to the stage. |
