Remember when we heard our first bit of Feels Just Like It Should? While I thought that was amazing...it wasn't until that sample of Seven Days in Sunny June was released where I literally had goosebumps/shivers at how great it felt to hear such an amazing new Jamiroquai song! I hope we get that same feeling really soon, can't wait for a single Smile

Yes. I remember the radio broadcasting of two full songs (besides FJLIS): Seven Days & Electric Mistress (both archives I still have, and EM sounds weird, different, from the album version).

What I promised myself is that I WON'T listen the full album until I buy it in a record store. No downloads.

Yep, I'm going on black out mode until I have the album in my hands. No live stuff or singles even... that way it'll sound fresher when I listen to it.

Could you put up a download for the Electric Mistress recording?

~Excellent. Cool

I was going to listen to the single if it had been released earlier, but at this point, it'll be a couple of months before the album is available, so I'm waiting. Razz

I'm a bit sceptic, sorry folks.

On some places I wrote stuff like "Is Jay pregnant?"

But seriously, what if Jay announces he'll get married and his fiancee is pregnant or/and that he retires from the music business even after having planned a new album for so long...

Of course, I hope it's about "the" new album with plenty of good music which sends us fans into spheres we haven't known yet.

....The Following Comical Jape Is Brought To You By.....

DISAPPOINTMENT CREAM: Rub it in and prepare to feel DISAPPOINTED!

....& a kooky hilariously demented Jamirophile JamiroFan2000......

*JK, dressed in an Adidas English World Cup Track suit, sits boringly in a Universal Music UK Boardroom, distracting his lull of wait with twanging away on his Blackberry buttons, in an amusing BB game of 'Run Over The Paparazzo With A Hearse'. A random label suit walks into the room and sits down at the table with a folder of papers, J notices his presence buts continue to play his game. He, undistractingly warbles to hims.*

JK - 'So, how is the pre-announcement coming for the gig?'
SUIT - 'Uhh...which announcement do you mean?'
JK - 'Bloody Hell, the announcement about the London gig!'
SUIT - (With a confused look of uncertainty) Which gig? The MAIN gig OR The PRE-GIG?'
JK - (Rolling eyes but still having the fortitude to not stray his main attention from his aimless BB game) 'THE....PRE-GIG!!! Bugger who hired you, did you win a scratch game for this job or something?'
SUIT - (Flares his eyebrows in a spiteful manner but relaxes them and gets back to the topic at hand) 'Oh the pre-gig, yep, got a rather smashing pre-announcement all ready to be posted on Monday for the Official Site and then the FULL announcement to be posted on the following Friday.'
JK - 'Pre-Announcement? What the bleedin' heck is a pre-announcement? Something you learned about from an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm?'
SUIT - 'No no, we just did some studies and we figured out that our target customer reacts better to a pre-announcement rather than just one collective announcement with all the information. We like to build up the mystique and speculation of the fans, through their online discussion, so the viability of a higher turnout of fans to impending Jamiroquai live gigs can maximize profitability for you and the us!'
JK - (Sneers a longing gaze of WTF? at the idiotically smiling Suit, shrugs his shoulders and replies) 'Whatever, just get it done, I got lunch, see you soon.'
*JK, dinging his Blackberry to the off position, moseys out of the room whilest the Suit continues to write imaginary bullshit on his folder to pretend he does work*

~ FIN ~

Wink LOL Wink !

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

buffaloman_R Hello again, buffaloman_R

Wink Your very welcome Tiff, always try to please Wink . Oh, just got the 'e-mail version' of the announcement through the mailing list, interesting on in the aspect about more details about this venue called the 'Debut'. A bit from the e-mail about that new venue, ah hell, the whole thing:

Jamiroquai are playing an exclusive
warm-up gig, two days prior to their appearance at Hard Rock Calling,
on Thursday 24th June. It's going to
be at Debut London, a club situated
in the labyrinth archways under
London Bridge Station. Jay Kay and
the band are very excited to perform
live in a more intimate venue and we
hope you are too.

We anticipate tickets going quickly so make sure you don't miss out: log on
to the official Jamiroquai website at
12pm GMT, Tuesday the 15th,
when the tickets go on sale.

Ticket price is only £10.

Hope to see you there!

www.jamiroquai.com

In some labyrithian highend club under a train station bridge...geez, sounds like the 'obvious setting for the opening scene to a new Guy Ritchie mob movie'...don't it? Still....I feel 'slightly alienated' after all this stuff...now if you will excuse me....I got cover all my 'Jamiroquai' posters with new posters of Britain's Got Talent 2010 New Luminary 'Tobias Mead'! Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
