Thank you all for sharing and for some great reviews !! I'm still hoping they will play more than one new song on Saturday...but as it is a short gig too I guess we have to wait till September for that.
Anyway, listening to the new song, have done it now a couple of times, and it gets better and better, but form me, and for now, not their most strongest song. Or maybe that's just because it has been so long... _________________ www.thisispeggy.com

I think the same, I like the way the sound is evolving through the whole track but JMQ needs to come out with a catchy HIT as a first single (like Canned Heat or Little L) that makes people move, not with a mid-tempo track
Otherwise I love the brass section, loving the old tracks to be played again, fingures crossed they'll stick with the same setlist in Hungary! |

Excellent report Anna, especially as you mentioned the two most important things about the gig! |

so, everybody compare how does sound like the new song, which tune is close to it. in my opinion it is very similar to "where do we go from here?" check the chorus! |

C'mon, WDWGFR? That track has nothing to do with this one... |

What did they play after Little L? The intro of song in the last seconds is great
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkHBlzOSi6s )
BTW the bassline of Little L is better than as it was! I didn't think that it's possible!
Im glad that they were playing songs the 1st album (WYGL and TYTD)...and I hope they'll bring the brass section to Hungary (BalatonSound Festival) and almost the same setlist!
To be honest I would rather prefer songs from the first albums, than for example Runaway etc... _________________ "If it doesn’t sound good with just a keyboard and a voice or a guitar and a voice, drop it.” /Jay Kay/ |
