I've been out of the loop for a while - are we allowed to put links to rips? If so, I have made MP3s which are sitting on rapidshare...

I think there's a ten d/l limit but someone else can put them up again. I just made MP3s but I can make AIFs if anyone would prefer. The quality on the site wasn't the best to start with though.

I think this is the best they sound since... I don't know, maybe 1999?

I can only echo your opinion Dyego - TYTD has been performed occasionally in the past 10 years but this is the closest to the original!

Yeah, I was referring to the overall sound, not just TYTD.

I arrived at 16:00h at Hyde park with Gaby, Änder, Bernd and Xavier. At the entrance we met Jools and Jan. Inside Russ, Lorraine and Nick joined us. As we were a bit late it was almost impossible to get front row so we decided to take a spot on the side, in front of the Gourmet Burger, well chosen I must say !!!
Heather (Little H, so nice to meet you finally !!!) joined us as well did Jo aka Funky Filthy Feet !(also very nice to meet Jo)

Gaby and Jan did the almost impossible, they went front row for the JMQ gig and they succeeded !!

It was truly great !! Although Jamiroquai didn't play any new songs (as the people who went to the debut on Thursday said: de record company won't allow them yet to play new songs) they made some new arrangements for the songs we all know ! And that was great !

I was very happy to see Jay was wearing a feather hat again ! And a very beautiful one !! Black stripes on his face, very Corner of the Earth-wise !
It was a one hour gig, no encore, but still, nice !

I had a great dancing partner: her name is BOUNCING LORRAINE !!! We had so much fun, videos can be found on our FB pages.
Thanks to Änders flag we were very noticed as well !!

After the JMQ part Jan and Gaby joined us again and we had such a blast with the Stevie concert. He is in a super condition, singin very very good and what a musicians !! GREAT GREAT GREAT !! I loved it !!
We've danced our but off !!
Unfortunaltely again, no encore.

After the concert the front rowers joined us...so nice to see the Spanish delegation again after all these years (it was Ahaus the last time) OS QUIERO MUCHO !!
Finally met FRA and Valeria !! After all these years of talking through this forum, Myspace and FB!!! Lovely !

It was so nice to see Rach and Anna again. Anna and I had a nice chat, mentionning how proud we are of Deesha, a Jamily member working in the White House, soooo cool ! We talk about Meike and how she was missed ! Hope this time it won't take 4 year to see us again sweeties !

Nicki and Konni: although we haven't talked much, always nice to see you. Love you very much !!! Please do come to Belgium !! Would like to inviite you our traditional fries and a good beer ! Nicky, there's room for you !

Russ, my hugging partner in crime, my chilling mate the next day inthe little Euston park, my great friend as always, really hope you will come to Belgium too !!

Änder, King and close friend, always fun to see you, alsways nice to talk, always nice to have breakfast at the same hotel ! See you in a month, oh yeah !

Gaby, take care of yourself, everything will work out, you'll see !

Nathalie, we haven't spoken much but it was nice to see you again !

Jools: next time take a hotel !

Bernd: we'll meet again at the end of August if all goes well !

Jeroen: it was nice seeing you for a very little while again ! Sure we'll meet in Holland later this year or next year !

David: sweet as ever !! Join Nicky, Russ and Änder and come to Belgium !!! HUG !

Claire, finally we've met, you are a sweet girl, hope you're feeling better now !

Jay: see you in a month !(that's the Belgian Jay, that goes for the English Jay too actually !)

I hope I didn't forget anyone, but in case i did: it was great seeing a huge part of the Jamily again ! I had an unforgettable Saturday !

It was great to meet you guys all again and to meet some new faces!!!
And the gig was good too!

Funny fact: Because the pitch of the Jamiroquai songs has been lowered I could finally sing the same notes as Jay did. When I sing with the albums, I usually have to sing an octave lower!

I remember during the Jazz Cafe Gig, after performing Emergency on Planet Earth, Jay said we could have cheated and changed the key, but we didn't and we kept it up there. Well it would seem that now, they are now changing the key on some songs, hence Jay's voice being able to hit more notes. I guess it is a natural progression of the voice to not be able to sing as high.

Well, Stevie Wonder doesn't seem to have this problem...
