hey EvoV
I have listened all the album and i really think it's good.
Maybe Comfortably Numb is the most weird song on the CD, witch is a version of Pink Floid's, but anyway that song makes me to press the repeat button a lot of times because it hypnotized me .
I specially like "Music is the victim" and "It can't come quickly enough"
The rest of the album is worth to be be listened, yep.
I laughed a lot when i read that the name "Scissor Siters" became from the position that lesbians lovers take when making it... gay pride!!! lol
sure u will like the rest.
Take care |

Hello,
Hehe, looks like one of the new bands I highlighted in my "2004: Best year for new music" post (LINK: http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1493 ) is being getting alot of attention lately! Yes, EvoV, I simply adore the Scissor Sisters debut self-titled album, looks like "retro Piano glam rock" is back in a full swing . My fav songs on the album are "Take Your Mama", "Music is a Victim" (The most "Elton John" sounding song on it!), "Laura" & "Filthy/Gorgeous". I mean, it's just plain fun dance music, if you want to be specific about them, yeah, they formed out of some dragqueen clubs. Scissor Sisters is one of the brightest new bands out there, write great songs and really know how to party! So pick up the CD EvoV, you won't be disappointed ! Peace and enjoy! Check out the Scissor Sisters cool Official Site at: ~ http://www.scissorsisters.com ~
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Yes EvoV, I bought the album and it's very cool. Althought the track I like the most is Comfortably Numb, Mary is also a highlight on the album. Yep, my opinion is you should listen to it

I bought the album last week & I’m strangely hooked! It’s got a pretty unique sound to me although maybe that’s just me not having listened to this kinda thing before… |

He he I went to the concert the night before that in Minneapolis at the Quest club. They were really good live... but I kinda runined it for myself by getting as hammered as I did lol. Still they were very good. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
