Yep, Sony...this is the first thing I saw
By the way, if the song is called "White Knuckle Ride" how come the file is named "Whiteknuckle walkon"?
So this should be (and I hope so) a remix... |

Thanks Zsoma. No doubt it was a remix anyway
@ dannyev
Your girlfriend was right!
We cannot have a substantiated opinion about the song because it is a remix, but so far I like it. Reminds me of Runaway and DGHAC remixes.
I do believe it is a more catchy song than Rock Dust Light Star, and the first single of any new album is supposed to be reasonably catchy (not like FJLIS, for instance). Jamiroquai has been facing harsh criticism coming from those who think that "real" jamiroquai (1992-1997) has been betrayed. Perhaps there's no "real" jamiroquai, but a band that tries to come with something different everytime. And then we can choose which sound is our favorite. But all of them are "real".
I really liked RDLS lyrics, but it seems to me that I'd prefer WKR sound |

whatever it is, it's just new stuff and I liked it... but waiting for new album as all of you
we're waiting so long and making so many suppositions that when new stuff didn't match to our requirements we pressure it or kindda that _________________

Hello amongest the inundation of 'WKR' threads,
First things first, here's my upload of the 'WNR' vid clip, audio & video and a reup of the first Official Site Vid for 'RDLS', Enjoy:
- White Knuckle Ride (RDLS Official Site 40 clip):
AUDIO http://www.mediafire.com/?o40tr57ikn46gsw
VIDEO http://www.mediafire.com/?qo2dfvvxzojpwrb
- *BONUS* Rock Dust Light Star (First Official Site Vid For RDLS):
VIDEO: http://www.mediafire.com/?imkytankvdm
Secondly, as for my initial response to 'WKR', love it, has some levity but DOES sound VERY LIVE, very promising and DEFINITELY has to be a remix of some kind, and yes, nearly identical bassline to Dyna's DGHAC . Looking forward to seeing what 'Blue Skies' is all about....Cheers!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I think it seems like we are totaly splitted into 2 kinds of fans...
Many of you likes this song-remix-finishedversion-whateverthef*ck!
And some even don´t like it, I think because of it´s "disco-dynamite-dance-like" sound...
BUT... Hey, it´s still a clip, Without many informations (we have). It seems to me that "you" allways see you have to wait for the album, but still can´t wait enough !
Ok, I tell you, my "style" changed a bit to House/Jazzy Hip Hop/Rap (ok, I still listen to Jamiroquai, and the Rest I have on my mobile , funk stuff and so), but there´s even no "new" sound for me. And, when I listen to the weekly Essential Mix/Giles Peterson-/Pete Tong show on Radio 1, I ALWAYS hear and get new stuff. And sometimes (just like most of the time there´s something new - you might like either!) But ok, that wasn´t anything about the track...
But I think we should stop writing "rumours" about the album/tracks, and just WAIT for it... _________________

@Brother Funk Your very welcome, yeah, it's a remix, but a GOOD REMIX, your welcome as always .
I am familiar with Seamus Haji, much akin to Mark Ronson when it comes to the quality of his remixes/mixes, so looking forward to this remix HIGHLY...in addition to the other Monarchy remix (Whom of which are VERY PROMISING new tech act!) . Cheers!
Sincerely,

maybe you are right ! whatever it is I LOVE IT! and I hope we get hear the full version..it seems still very unusual that they are promoting a remix now..they never did that before but then again it seems the whole promotion has been and still is very different to earlier hahah
but yeah again
its live bass
live guitar
the drums sound very live to me
and there are some synth parts which matt easily could do
love the blueish funky buffaloman at the begin of the clip hihi |

I don't get Sony either and I think walkon means "walk onto the stage"...(correct me if I'm wrong) |
