Yay! twins Peggy is coming too!

I will be taking the train from Brussels to Amsterdam in the early afternoon and that should take about 2h45 and costs 45 euro. Maybe it makes things cheaper? Anyways people can always crash at my place the day before and after (although I will be working till noon Laughing )

I'll be working till 16:00 hours, so Evy, if you can come to Turnhout I can give you a lift. Save some money on the train.

Gig starts at 20:30h. Doors open at 19:00h.

Have to work really early on the 25th... hopefully there still be tickets left by the time i return.

René will be there too. Looking forward to seeing him again after all this time !

Good to know, will keep it in mind, depending on me travelling alone or in company Wink

Will definitely keep that in mind for the future. But the bus is going to take a lot longer than the train in this case Wink But thanks for the tip!

Brussels is really ideally situated for this kind of stuff. I can get about anywhere pretty fast for almost no money. If I wasn't going to so much stuff those days I would take the thalys for example, 100 euro b/f and it is just a 1.5h ride.

here we go, some "uptodate" information from the main site:

Hi Everyone,

Well, what a year it's proving to be!! Jamiroquai has been particularly busy so far with the imminent release of the new album 'Rock Dust Light Star', festivals all over the world, filming two new promo videos and now playing a date at the Q awards.

After their brand new record deal with Mercury Records, the album 'Rock Dust Light Star' will be their first studio album for six years. We've been listening to it over the summer and although you could say we're biased, it's a superb record! The album was recorded at Jay's home studio in Buckinghamshire, Hook End Manor in Oxfordshire and in Thailand. Why Thailand? Well, as Jay says, if you can get the same recording equipment in Thailand, along with good food and great weather then why stay in the UK? The band is super pleased with the album. Jay said, "The nice thing about it is, it's live. Everything on the record is live. It's a real band record'.

Jay has also just finished filming two new promo videos for the singles 'White Knuckle Ride' and 'Blue Skies', where they spent four days filming in Almeria. 'After a few years break it's been very exciting doing these videos. And I must say, I can't wait to see the finished results!' Jay told us.

They've had a busy year touring and will soon be playing gigs in South America, then back to the UK followed by a quick flight to Switzerland. Confirmed dates are:

Nem Catacoa Festival
Columbia, South America 9th October 2010

About Us Festival Brazil, South America 16th October 2010
Q Awards HMV Forum, Kentish Town
20th October 2010

AVO Session
Basel, Switzerland
22nd October 2010

To buy tickets for the Q Awards go to the following link:

http://www.aloud.com/tickets/q-awards
We can't wait for you to hear the album! You can pre-order your copy here

Make sure you comment and tell us what you think on www.jamiroquai.com.
Party People x
