The hopes lie on the live perfomance... I don't expect nothing more from the album.

Good performance, but why they remove one of the best parts of RDLS ?

Where is the backing vocals saying:

SALVATION IS COMING ? (x2) and the drums ?!

I prefer the live version of Swiss.

Ok..the reason the brass is there is because they record the whole thing live on the tues night but other parts get aired on the Fri. That means they need brass for the other 2 tracks whatever they are. Wink

So expect RDLS to be the first track again on the Friday & it will be thr same one recorded last night.

I liked the music (the main thing of course) but what the heck was Jay wearing? He looked like he'd just rolled out of bed and all his clothes were too young for him - he's got grey in his beard now, needs to ditch the cheap sportswear and wear a better hat next time, it's a high profile show in High Definition and some people go on there looking incredible. Let himself and the band down there I feel, it's not radio Wink

Ray Lamontagne had a silly hat and waistcoat too in fairness and KT Tunstall looked like her outfit came from dial-a-rocker Cool

After listening to the great performance of RDLS with propper headphones I can only say again: INCREDIBLE!!

Tell me what you want, but this sounds SO "jamiroquai" to me!! The verses are so smooth and are flowing so beautifully!! Matt is doing really well and also Derrick!! Everyone top-notch! Do yourself a favour and hear the song a few times, each time only pay attention to ONE intsrument! And then the last time enjoy it as a fusion of all elements - all the little pieces are merging perfectly together - I love it!!

I really love the verses, but also the contrast to the chorus is good!
And I don't find this one rocky at all. Rock is something different for me.
Or let's say it different: if this IS Rock, then I am a Rock fan! Wink

Great song, I haven't really noticed it in the previous live recordings of RDLS - maybe I haven't been listening sensible enough, or it was the lack of quality of some clips... (or my bad computer speakers) - but this performance yesterday with headphones on - fantastic!! Totally proud here! biglove

Can't wait for the other track(s) they have recorded!!! I bet the brass section will have a bigger presence then!!

No comment so far on DU - I only listened once on my iPhone - also, it is not my favourite live track... but I will give it another chance later, and will listen carefully again.

hahaha Laughing

he always looks like that - it's his style - the black pants, blue polo, a choice of track top (which was the same as the album launch party) & a carefully chosen hat (same as the debut club). It's a simple way to look so he doesn't have to worry about anything else bar the music Smile

the girls looked lovely as usual - especially Hazel love5
