That would be sooooo awesome if "Midnight Funk" was on this album....I think that's the one song I really must hear more of Maybe even Shoot The Moon will make an appearance, haha.
I guess I'm just hoping there's more of a Return of the Space Cowboy vibe on this album which seems probable seeing how Runaway and Rock Dust Light Star have some of that funkyness in them. I'm guessing it'll be a mix of Return of the Space Cowboy and Dynamite. _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

I only saw you comments now! thanks guys! really flattered
just on a sidenote..I AM AUSTRIAN!!
guess what
I took this hat everywhere I went. I got the button from the Brisbane Markets. We went on a short holiday to sydney and the blue mountains..There we went into some crazy old caves (340 milion years old..)
I lost my hat in those caves somewhere...Propably getting crystalized right now
went back to the shops to get another hat like this but they didn´t have it no more...oh well..not that this was too interesting but yeah...I loved that hat and I haven´t bought anything for myself lately than this one.
*whingymode-end*
for the ahaus demo..can´t wait to hear the track .wonder if we can remember it from the demo hihi
I was just thinking again how surreal the whole demo listening in the car was!!!! _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

i was chating with a friend who follows rock and punk bands and he said he left some bands when they made a BIG change, so, if the same happen with fans here is not surprising.
looks like every band in some time change, then at least half of the fans-is not exactly, is a example-left the band when they change that much.
so, if this album will be a big change, i will miss some fans if they left, anyways the jamily is always open to receive oldest fans and new fans too _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

that's sad, but unfortunatelly i think a lot of fans have already left jmq after hearing Blue Skies. the feedback about that song was not positive at all _________________ jamiroquai music is like the air...you need it to live

I think they lost a lot of fans after DU came out in 1998 too. That was when I first heard fans wishing the band would return to their roots. There have been murmurings of it ever since... You win some, you lose some. _________________

absolutely! they're always getting and losing fans. i didn't know that the fans started to wish that so early. but well, you can't always expect a band/singer to keep the same style/sonority for ever. inspiration goes there's of course the evolution.
in some cases, inspiration returns a few years later (bringing up, again, the style so many people wanted), or so i guess... _________________ jamiroquai music is like the air...you need it to live
