God, I am happy that I am not the only one who is thinking so. MTV got it! Just ridiculous. Therefore we can't expect much airplay. |

i actually like the both videos. i prefer the blue skies one cause i think the wkr is a little bit repetitive...  i like the ideia of one video being a continuation of the other it makes them look like a short-film. plus, the ideia of putting cars (once more) on the videos is a good idea to promote them specially because people usually relate jamiroquai/jay kay to cars..

the interpretation seems right. but don't forget that those videos were shot in the same place as cosmic girl video, so that makes even more sense to the "old fast life" thing

yes
i have seen WKR and get all the sense
is like when he leaves the porsche is leaving his past away
to me have even more sense because he's getting tired of all looking like a car nutt, then he wanna show that he dont wanna make this path again.

You took the words right out of my mouth.
I love the interpretations too, but I strongly believe people are reading too much into the plot of the videos. To me, they're simply videos with a strong visual content. Just like 'Cosmic Girl'. I think they suit Jay's personality more than doing a love story with an actress. |

well i dont think so.
last two new songs radio and runaway were clearly about last days with sony and that industry and the search for a new way.
i'm sure ja wanted to make their own way and i'm sure he wanted to give a sense to his videos with this 2 "short films", if he would only give some action shots he would make something more spectacular with the motorcycle, helicopeter and car.

is true
in fact the day before i got both videos i was watching runaway, then i see the videos and there's the story, jay leaving a car behind, is the first time EVER, if that dont say something...
and then he looks the bike from the heli but he dont go back, is telling in both videos that he's living his past away.
in fact the critics about the new sounds are gettting the same way at he leaves vehicles in the videos, is like...u know, he's going to change all from this record, so the videos will have something from the past but the end is really surprising, really new.
is a new jamiroquai, so, is not what we all expect, but is something we will know better at the next gigis and upcoming videos 
btw, ive read jay said''ill be back'' in almeria...ill love the videos from this era, if many are stuck on the desert, i cant denied it

is just like part of my life.
so, this change wouldn't be so easy for all
for some reason it was so easy to enjoy the videos and the new tracks that i feel related to them

I think that if you haven't seen the videos, you can't talk about what they tried to say. I understood something, but when I read the first oppinion I understood it more clearer than before.
I can't believe how "real" fans are criticizing destructively, and not constructively... |

The videos are not mind blowing but they are cool. Jay always likes to show off his new skills. 
And it's good to see it's actually him doing the stuff, it's not all special effects.
