oh and mr.az do you mind if i ask why haven't you heard blue skies yet?? |
i haven't downloaded the video yet
and i wanna see it to say what i think
the fact the video is 5 minutes surprise me alot
i wonder how many minutes are just music
for some reason this new release dont take this forum so fast as 2006, when i get the runaway video faster than i expected, and now im getting trouble to have the both videos in the two versions.
ironicly, i am not dissapointed by the music, is because i cant get videos so fast
i mean, in 2006 i ever downloaded all the jazz cafe show-mp3
now if i can have the songs is enough, till i get my beloved videos(they were made in almeria, i know they will be loved by me )
it is so hard that someone can find a mpeg version of the videos and uploadi it???? _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

Well I'm really sorry people but I am sooo excited about November 1st!! I am really feeling all four tracks and cannot wait to have another Jamiroquai CD to drive along to.
I personally do not feel that any of the songs are "not typical JK tracks" and I think it is sad if an artist gets to a point where they are too tightly pigeon-holed. Maybe they've just left it a bit too late in the day to experiment but I have played these tracks in amongst the GH and they don't sound out of place! |

So funny. I went to my I-tunes and noticed they put the genre for Jamiroquai's EOPE under "Rock"!
Here's the list:
EOPE -Rock
Space Cowboy -Electronica/
TWM -R & B
Synkronized -R & B
AFO -R& B
Dynamite -Electronica/ |

Somewhere here in the forum I said I would post my opinion about the new album when it'll be out, but no, I can't hold myself:
The more we are getting nearer to the release date, the more I'm getting annoyed!!!
Yes I am!
The 4 songs we could listen to so far aren't really high quality masterpieces!
OK, White Knuckle Ride is a nice tune to dance to, Blue Skies a nice ballad, but Rock Light Dust Star and especially I've been hurtin' are quite mediocre!
I'm more and more convinced JK and his boys are bullshitting us to get our money, by letting us fans wait for 5 years, saying Dynamite was crap because Sony was behind it, the new album will be great bla bla bla!
Why the hell couldn't they create their own music label and release the album, just for the fun of it, the joy of making music in a band and releasing something really creative?
Ah no, Universal it must be....
And yes, I'll be so stupid and buy the new album, because I still hope the rest of it will be good!
And guys, please stop saying that the band has to evolve.
Hey, Jamiroquai's evolution went from a top class act to mediocrity!
Back in the 90s it was cool to listen to Jamiroquai, even still in 2001, but nowadays it's like we're following a guy whose wallet and garage can't be full enough!
At least, luckily, the band's (still) great live!
That's why I can't wait to hear them in Amsterdam, but the new album... I don't know, as I said, I'm maybe still so stupid to hope it'll be marvellous!
People, I'm sad!
Two of my favourite bands have become bad!
The one, Jamiroquai, because of the new songs it's releasing.
The second, the Brand New Heavies, because it has become crap live! (They disappointed me in Den Haag and at Hampton Court!)
I hope it's just a phase, a phase many established bands go through in their career. _________________

Änder, just a remark off topic about BNH: they were great in Paradiso (René as my witness) they were superb in Leverkusen and they were great in Porto and Ahaus.
Sorry, I don't think they have gone crap live, I think you have just caught to bad gigs. And in Hampton N'Dea couldn't sing because of a cold, that can happen no ?
I'm sure the Indigo2 gig is going to be great again ! Don't loose your faith in them ! _________________ www.thisispeggy.com

Well..you pretty much summarized it all up...I feel ya dude...
I just realized the album cover is that photo of Jason's smile, man he looks terrible...one more reason to believe this is Jaymiroquai...it sucks
And for all of those craving Jason to come here and read and comment....nah, he'll never ever do it by himself, too busy partying or buying a new car...and he's probably as illiterate in computers as a caveman can be, remember the other bandmembers have family and friends to contact through the net, Jason has nobody in life but a bunch of fans thinking he's a G-d...and he doesn't care about them either, no family up, no family down, he's single (even if he sleeps with 50 women everyday)... |

I'm sorry...but didn't Jamiroquai start with Jay? And then he acquired everyone else. So what is the big deal about him being on the cover? It was always that or the 'Buffalo Man' which is a drawing by Jay of himself. I would love a cover with all of them on it, but if I never see one, it does not change anything in my eyes. I didn't buy the first CD because of the cover photo as with all the following CD's.

I don't know any of the band members (including Jay) personally, I have not walked in their shoes or lived their lives for them. So I would never preconceive to speak to what they feel or care about or don't, what family they have or don't and if they communicate with them or how. How computer literate they are or are not...so why are you? _________________ Mocha |

This guy talks about someone he doesn't even know, but when you read what he's writing, it seems like "Jay" is his best friend, but he's only repeating shitty things he's reading in shitty stupid newspapers, trying to make himself clever on a jamiroquai fans forum...
Either troll, either really stupid _________________ Smile ~ |

Sooo -how is your day going everybody?
I just wonder if those that hate the album so far, are going to buy it when it's released, and hate it even more, and come here and tell me how much they still hate it?
If you've fallen out of love, have the decency and walk away. But it seems you are still hanging on, just hoping, there'll be a spark. You seem to still have hope. |

I'm very hopeful, there were only 4 songs out of 12.
Those who still stick to those statements like "if you don't like it, walk away" should get the fuck out of here, seriously, I see people saying it a lot and as a fan it drives me the nerves. You're no better than anyone, and if they brag and complain, it's their right, because they're fans as well, and there is nothing wrong as long as it is not being offensive to ANYONE. So if you don't like to see people negatively criticizing the album, walk away.
Get the true concept of a discussion forum straight. _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

Well, I've been on Jam.com for almost a year. And this was my first forum. I'm a big music fan and JMQ fan. But I'm just having fun!
We're much more optimistic over there. But it's sorta under construction! I'm afraid of haunted houses! |
