John Lennon turns 70 today 9/10/2010
Hello fellas!
John Lennon would be turning 70 years old today.
You may like his music or not, but he was one of the best and most influential songwriters in the history of music, and his message was very meaningful for a whole generation. He was murdered on 8th December 1980.
maybe this little birthday topic can be a nice opportunity to remember and keep alive his message of love and peace for everyone.

That's an amazingly beautiful song! I'm pretty sure it's the only Beatles song in which John performs on his own. |

I love The Beatles .. i love John Lennon .. i think he's the first ones for a musician who's not just making music but also mixing up with social/political concerns, inspiring nowadays concern-to-be musicians like Bono,etc, dares to say out-loud and doesn't even care even when people laughed at his idealism .. Happy Birthday John! |

nice to see julia got his name because a song 
i think we need more think-alike people like john lennon
in that way the world would be better
