What do you like better:
All Good In The Hood ... or
All Good In The Hood (acoustic version) ???
They sound so different... I can't really decide, I think at the moment I like the normal version better... |
The Acoustic one!!! sounds very 90's Spin Doctors!!
Woww this preview make my day!! the first impression is that i will love this album! a lot of styles, it's Rocky, which is obvious cause Rob has a very important influence!! an i love the organic sound!! i think it's goin to be a great album to listen from the beggining to the end.....as TWM or Synk. _________________ Jamiro - ROCKS!! - |

One last final comment
I have been on these forums recently for a long time even though I do not regularly post. I have been a fan of the band from the Traveling Without Moving Era (since i'm only 21). But still love the first two albums. I find it really disrespectful for all the people that have been "bashing" the band with comments like "Jamiroquai are dead" without even hearing an album in full. People are entitled to not like songs from the band and have every right to say they do not like a song, but to just post heartless comments on a fan page forum seems odd to me.
I hope this album proves you all wrong, |
The same feel here....some post were really disrespectful and made me change to read other topics....off topic for example hehehe..... _________________ Jamiro - ROCKS!! - |

| HF ... ok, there I will be more specific asi it was the ONE that impressed me more than other songs - this one is nice ballad with killing Sola/Paul very beginning and then the Chris Rea like guitar; then it turns to pop/rock/orchestral part with loads of WTF sounds effects (typical for many songs on album, mostly in "good way" - very Roman Holý like!) and then turns again into DA like song, this time with lyrics and then turns into nice ending with Matt behind his keys. The best choice for single in my oppinion.. |
..it is that part in the snippet |

Well the final issue is a bit different from what has been heard before
I am hearing Funk, Ska, Jazz, Rock, New age and World music
Whoever said Jamiroquai are "DEAD" man you have a lot to learn about music, this finished album covers every base and has something for every fan.
Just F*CK*NG BRILLIANT
Well done to the guys for making such an appealing album |

Agree!
This made my day. And it's way better than I expected if you can say that after hearing only 30 second snippets. This is Jamiroquai. And it's very divers. And where is the rock? I hear more funk than rock in these songs. And I love the brass!
My favourites:
Smoke And Mirrors (!!)
All Good In The Hood
She's A Fast Persuader (!!)
Hey Floyd
Angeline
Hang Over
Getting more and more excited now! |

Well, I said we should wait. It seems we have at least some really good songs. When Lifeline gets all bumpy it's good! The bj song (She's a Fast Persuader) and Two Completely Different Things (bass & drums rhythm reminds me of Falling, and there's flute, and a meow synth, really beautiful chord changes and melody) seem to be awesome. All Good in the Hood and Hang It Over might be good too! A relief, at last! =)
And yesterday, wierd thing: they played Black Capricorn Day, If I Like It I Do It and When You Gonna Learn. Also, a very different version of Rock Dust Light Star. |

That quote of Jay was crossing my mind aswell!! They didn't give us the best songs first. In my opinion are RDLS, BS and Hurtin' not the best songs of the album. |
