However I don't want to be "negative" but I'm wondering:
18 or 19 tracks on ONE cd! (Deuxe Edition) : The regular 12 tracks album should be short!

unless the addtionnal tracks will be on a second disc.

Obviously quality is beyond quantity (check the What's Going On album, a 39 minutes masterpiece, isn't it Zoma? But Here My Dear is 73 gorgeous minutes! )

But more longer is a Jamiroquai's album, more happier I am!

JAQ of current doesn’t offer the extended track length as they’d previously showcased on the first three discs. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that they can hold that many tracks when the lengths are restricted to keeping a tighter hold on production.

SAFP is well above 5mins! But yeah, in general around 4mins. No epic instrumental gems.

- Sounds like "Two Completely Different Things" has some of brazilian music influences.

- "Hey Floys" reminds me a bit of "Sould Education" and already sounds like a classic.

- The chorus from "All Good In the Hood" is a little weak 'though.

I prefer the first snippet, which focus more on the chorus' parts but it's great to listen to some more.

Amazon.de is showing the length of the regular album 52:06 minutes.

FYI, I saw yesterday somebody said "That's Not The Funk I Want" was not available on the Japanese iTunes.... well, it's there now.

I had my doubts about this album after Hurtin' and Blue Skies, and the live versions of Rock Dust Light Star. But these samples give me new hope. They sound great. Especially "She's a Fast Persuader". Can't wait to hear the rest.

Yea, Just heard the clip of Not the Funk I Want. Definitely doesn't grab me like some of the other tracks, but maybe it is just an awkward snippet. Good find though.

Cheers Freddie. I checked earlier today and it wasn't there so they must've added it quite recently.

Major disappointment to be honest. Makes it easier to decide what to buy though. Regular European deluxe it is! I'm not paying through my nose just to get a track I didn't even like. I'll just wait until it's released as a B-side. Wink

Others may like it though, I urge you to launch the Japanese iTMS and check it out. By the way... changing country afterwards can be a bit tricky if you don't already know that it's the last link to the most right in the lower part of the home window. Smile
