Eh, I spoiled it for myself and downloaded the leak. I've been anticipating this album for the last several years since it was first announced and so I got beyond tired of waiting on it to be honest.
Without spoiling it too much for everybody (even though most of you heard the samples already  ), I'll just say that "Two Completely Different Things" and "She's a Fast Persuader" are the only two songs that really have the old school Jamiroquai vibe IMO. The latter has already been discussed as far as its raunchy lyrics go, but the overall arrangement of the song is nice, though.
That's not to say that none of the other songs don't have a Synkronized vibe at times, though. Some definitely do.
Some of the songs definitely surprised me, though. Better album than I thought on this one. They definitely haven't completely lost it.

Just finished listening to the album, simply amazing! A return to the style of Synkronized. Thats the fel of the album, really live, loads of horns. All the songs are good, great even! Honestly guys, we've got the REAL ol' skool Jamiroquai back. Its all soul, funk, horns, keys, dirty guitaring and some funked up basslines. She's a fast persuader has this crazy jam at the end, its shocking. Too funky, its intense jazz! Hey Floyd also is another stand out, what with the reggae verse two. The album really is brilliant. Cant fault it really!

wow.....is everywhere! Why so fast???? i was worried becouse i think the album delay was long.....if it was ready maybe they should have released it last week....i dont know.
Even in local argentine sites is the leak......

I've just downloaded the album myself - so shoot me - and it's pretty awesome so far. Hurtin' sounds so good in better quality. I wouldn't judge it by the radio rip alone.
That said if the bonus tracks happen to leak before I get the CD I'll hold off on hearing them until I have the disc in my hot little hands. |

My Deluxe is pre-ordered, so i'm fine in downloading the leaked version too.
Awesome up to now!
Hurtin' became another song in high quality, but still lacks a change of mood, that same riff over and over for 4 minutes is annoying.
The word that defines the album: ELABORATED. It's very well played and produced, altough some songs aren't that nice, they're so well arranged that makes you want to hear it again and again!!!
Congratulations on the band, they made a fantastic album.
