Get the censors: JK fires away at X-Factor judges
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/x_factor/3203888/Jay-Kays-X-cert-rant-at-judges.html
If this is true, then I must say...Somehow, I knew he wouldn't be able to get through X-Factor without shooting his mouth off. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. So, what was the word "W....." ? I understood the "F......"
Oh, no! Please, Jay, develop that "Inside Voice"! (professionalism)
Think whatever the F*** you want, but keep it inside.
I want your music to make it to America.
(If these are his genuine words) He just slaughtered Will.i.am's sweetheart. That's all you need... |

Keep it mind where the story comes from: a JOKEpaper.
If it's as true as "Virtua insanity crowd madness during london gig"... _________________ Smile ~ |

Jay is probably right-but Jamiroquai is just performing-not a contestant of the show. So it's a kind of pointless to rant about the judges. Either you just pull your performance off and shut up or you just don't do it.
And Jay should be prepared to perform in front of amateurs-not all of his fans are professional musicians. |

Rather -Not all the judges are as experienced as Jay-miroquai.
Funny -Jay seems to have a strong personality. And yes, if he was a friend, he'd be funny as hell.
But I think as an artist it may be seen as rude behavior. But who knows, could be good for the publicity!

Aww man, Dermot was teasing sooo badly over this on the programme. For those that didn't see it Danni and Cheryl didn't clap after the song (Rhianna got a standing ovation from them all) and Dermot asked Jay if he knew the judges and he said he knew two of them - Cherly Cole could be seen mouthing the word 'bitch' to Danni and then later after the break Dermot said to Cheryl, 'nice to see you smiling... wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of you'. Simon was smiling very naughtily throughout - even if you hadn't read the story it was absolutely obvious this did not go well.
HoneyBee the 'w' word was whore
Bless Jay for having the stones to fly in the face of a popular thing that fills people with the idea that you just have creative achievement given to you as a prize. If only he hadn’t performed White Knuckle Ride he might have made his point a bit more strongly - about the industry it may be but it’s not his most soulful anti-commercial statement |

I figured the "w" stood for "wanky" No offense to anyone but I always thought people in Europe said "wank", "wankers", and "wanky" and it was somewhat derogatory. Like...."Look at that little wanker over there!!" _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

Ah yes, wanky may well be it. Someone has just joined the official forum to slag off the performance (probably Cherly Cole ), I've reposted my previous post above over on there |

Jay was a bit harsh, but it was needed. In most cases these judges on the show are total knuckleheads (xcept Simon) and deserved what was said. Personally, I thought it was funny
Someone needs to sayit about the drab-a** so-called crackhead judges on American Idol. _________________

Jay was in The Sun again today. Nothing quite so offensive this time though!
Quote: |
JAY KAY is on a roll... After offending CHERYL COLE and DANNII MINOGUE last week, the JAMIROQUAI singer has stuck his boot into meat-dress wearing LADY GAGA.
He said: "Lady GaGa is a money-making freak for her label.
"We are not like that. We do music, not marketing. Lady GaGa is obviously a phenomenon.
"The world loves a freak. If the record companies see that they can make money with them, they will do anything.
"Don't worry, next time we'll come dressed in asparagus. And with tomatoes too." |
