i must say..i cant believe i will actually say this...i think jay was nervous, even his voice was trembling at the beginning

I very much agree with you!

I felt embarrassed watching it..
I was last Friday at their concert in Paradiso and I just wish the general public could see that instead, cause that was the real Jamiroquai! They are awesome and so bloody talented; such a shame it doesn't show here : (

I agree with those who said they appreciated the performance more after watching it again. They all looked great too, and Jay certainly scrubs up well! I felt rather uncomfortable seeing it the first time but that was mostly because I knew there would be a pretty tense atmosphere between Jay and the judges!

As for Jay's comments in The Sun.. he makes a good point - what can they tell him about music? Asolutely nothing! Dannii's music career is non existant and Cheryl has somehow managed to scrape a second album together despite the fact that she CAN'T SING (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEHqNzFxopA!!)
But at the same time I have no sympathy for him and whole so called apology at the end was cringe worthy! Jay really shot himself in the foot with that one Rolling Eyes

Both Danni and Cheryl refused to clap after Jamiroquai's performance. In fact, Cheryl had a face like a wet fish...this immature and unprofessional attitude says it all really. I have never watched this programme, but I'm thinking 'what qualifies her to be a judge anyway at such a tender age, with virtually no talent?'. It's a dumb show for dumb people. Quite frankly, X Factor gives me a f**king headache - rather watch Later With Jools Holland.

Personally I'd liked to have seen them perform something less mainstream like Smoke And Mirrors. Anyways, enjoying the new album... Very Happy

I don´t mind seeing Jay in a suit from time to time...Very Happy

So Rob had his GIBSON on stage??? why would he do that? I always thought White Knuckle Ride has definitiv a strat sound...
maye he thought it looks better ( as they didn´t play live it didn´t matter).

I agree with you Jam Fan that on listening to it a few more times, the performance isn't bad except for the beginning part.

Jay is looking great in the suit Cool

To reach the masses it's an excellent place to perform, but can imagine Jay's initial thoughts Wink

I'm guessing most people turned off after the Jamiroquai performance so I just wanted to let you all know there was an advert for the new album in the ad break. It said the album was available at HMV and had the blue skies video with WKR and BS playing (if I remember correctly)

Stage, lights, colors, Jason' suit, all in HD widescreen, it looks really GOOD, even impressive, there was a bit of smooth criminal in the clothes and the dance moves.

I forgot to say...when Jay is waiting for the helicopter there was a buffaloman silhouette stood on the mountains in the background which isn't in the real video

Not that I expected them to, but as usual The Sun just can't leave things alone. Even a little dig at Jay from Denise, now that's gotta hurt!!

Denise Van Outen
It seems that Denise Van Outen is full of grief on Jay Kay. She wrote on her twitter after the X-Factor:

"I bet Rihanna didn't have reservations about appearing on the brilliant X Factor. A true gracious star!"

"I've been at the receiving end of it too many times. Its called good old fashioned bullying. Its not nice"

Brilliant performance! Very Happy

Obviously, the Daily Mail couldn't let this whole thing go unnoticed.

Take a look: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1325527/X-FACTOR-2010-Cheryl-Cole-Dannii-Minogue-snub-Jamiroquai-rant.html

P.S. Jay brought the suit on purpose for this performance. When he left the studio he was again wearing his normal outfit. Razz

The whole show is available in HD (1280x720) as a torrent over at www.thebox.bz if anyone's interested.

Posted image has been reduced in size. Size of original image (273887 KB) is 1280 x 720 pixels. Click image to view full size and better quality! ...Rob and Paul on "backing vocals", haha!
