Usually bands promoting their new album feature mostly the new album songs in the set. But maybe that's for a newer band.
It seems, maybe they are trying to mix it up. Definitely less from the first 2 albums, though.
*Great stats btw! |
Yes I think that for "older" acts such as Jamiroquai it is very difficult to make up a setlist featuring many new songs because there are many fan favourites to include... but they did a good job with the new setlists because there are all the "necessary ingredients" but they still sound pretty fresh (according to me listening to the fan recordings ) i will come back to this judgement next week |

I'm embarrased to say, some of their tour date destinations are in cities I'm not even sure which country it is ...
This is how detached from the tour I feel.
I'll bet other U.S. people probably feel the same. |

Hi Meike,
I'm surprised but pleased you bring this old post back to life !
I hadn't updated it in a while and the latest Italian date they added to the current tour (Mantova) doesn't appear in there, but i'll try and update it if you want (your wish is my command !)

Yes, I have updated the tourdates topic this morning as well:
http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=152490#152490
I think it is up to date at the moment.
I didn't know it is difficult to update it... sorry!
If anyone knows another map that is easier to handle, let us know!
Thanks Francois, for your work!!

I'll have to check dates, 'cause I have 21 gigs for the summer tour in my list, while you just have 18 !
I know you can add my last date in France (six fours / voix du gaou / 29 july --> tickets are already for sale and it's been confirmed).
And, so that you don't feel guilty (!), it's OK doing a map with several tour dates, but it's a pain if you have to add a new concert between two other dates and change the "lines" between the locations, that's why I want to confirm as many tour dates as possible beforehand!
Cheers! |

There may be an announcement for gigs in Spain soon... I've heard about Barcelona, Marbella & maybe Ibiza... To be confirmed, rumours only...
An Asian tour was meant to take place in september, but it'll probably be delayed beacause of the tragic events in Japan.
Oh... And no Montreux this year... _________________ Max. |

would be great if it would be in May as I will be in Spain for 3 weeks and not far from Marbella, but I'm afraid it would have been already announced ... _________________ All of my vision were untrue Till I had a vision of YOU |
