These elections decide the fate of the world...not just america
So if the world is NOT a better place with 'George 'Wanker' Bush', i'd CERTAINLY vote for kerry... without a doubt..
plus, i'm not taking in consideration, Michael Moore, since there's no way to believe in EVERYTHING he says...even though he's important to get votes away from bush...
well that's my opinion... the one from a brazilian kids, living in a country where politicians become politicians only to rob people's money..
so think what u want...heheh _________________

Hello,
Well, being a American, I don't have the luxury of honest politicans to talk about the issues at hand, fair elections that aren't decided in the courts, or a government that is completely truthful about all they do. But it is very true that is a important election, but still, has been full of nothing but smear ads from both parties, ignorant bantering between the candidates and many other stupid things. In a perfect world, there would be a electable candidate, but in our world, there isn't nearly one for Attorney General...nor to run the largest, fattest, increasingly becoming stupid, Alexander the Great Military-run, and just itching to using "nucular" weapons on the loose "Axis of Terror". But to make concessions in progressing the process for some "loosemeat loser" for president, I'm voting for John Kerry. Yeah, he looks like a horse, he has no emotions that he knows how to emote, and he is as exciting as a Dick Clark special, at least what he says makes sense (Read more about his agenda for America at www.johnkerry.com). In American Politics, logic dictates when a Republican President puts us into unneeded military conflicts, builds up our national deficit to record highs, turns a blind eye at the rising prices of oil & gas so his daddy can drum up some more oil stock profits for his pension, and has the language skills of a 6 year old, it's time for a change in the White House. I mean it's not because I'm so negative all the time, it's just I'm sick of seeing our press covering the "Sidled bullshit" that comes from their constant nitpicking of the candidate's lives. I don't give a darn if John Kerry gunned down families of innocents at Vietnam, I don't give a damn if George Dubya Bush won 20 hands of poker while serving Alabama Air National Guard. Tonight marks the 1st of 3 schedules Presidential Debates, ironically it is being held in Miami, I wonder how much more dough Jeb Bush can get from his brother? All I want to see is a discussion of the issues and topics that affect every or nearly American's life for the next 4-8 years, namely: How they plan to bail out Social Security & Medicare and fortify them. How they are going to handle and alleviate the quagmire that Bush started in Iraq. How they are going to increase our efforts in the war on terror and not go firing and witchhunting the CIA and FBI everytime they can't agree on something and many other things. Sorry for going off on a tangent, but I had to get all my feelings out there. Thanks for listening and may the best "idiot" win...eerrr...candidate. Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

"Thank you Coral Gables! If I don't see you again: Good Afternoon, Good Morning & Goodnight!"
Hello again,
I watched the 1st Presidential debate last night Tahoe, and boy did Kerry kick Bush's ass. I don't know if Bush isn't a great debater or he came unprepared with only 30 minutes of material for a 90 minute debate. But at the times Kerry talked, they used a split screen camera on each candidate, and Bush looked tired, confused and sighed all the time. If this debate is a indication of the next 2 debates about domestic policy and foreign policy, Kerry is as good as elected as our new President. To quote Comedian Dennis Miller, "This is just my opinion, I could be wrong." Thanks for listening and Peace!
Can't understand why the American press is covering the
candidates body language during the debate rather than
concentrate on studying the issues at hand,

I saw today that on the news too! I didn't saw all the debate but for what the press in Portugal said, that was equilibrated! That i don't know..but when i saw in some moments that George bush is trying to get away from the questions that Kerry put "in the table"!
Like u said Bren the Bush looks Tired..normal that things that interess to USA he try to keep away from it! HE is always talking on was against terrorism..always the same! And the people that live in the USA?
I also so today the Daily Show (here the episodes are bit more late about 15 days more late!)And Kerry was the special Guest for that day!
I tink he is a very nice person..well at least looks more fine that Bush! (anyone is much better than Bush ) And said some problem on the show that i didn't know that exist! and why? Everytime we saw the TV and talks about USA is about FIGHT TERRORISM! Not about the Health problems , and 1 million of people lost the Job or the Prices of Petrol (everyday they are up) and the Politics about the Ambient, the use of the Renew energys!
Hope Kerry can win! PEOPLE vote on that MAN! _________________ hooked up |

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to see the debate because I was at work (I always work weeknights), but it seems to me that people don't like Kerry as much as there is just a general hatred for Bush. Someone who sends innocent people to fight a war for false reasons deserves to get ousted. I understand we have ousted Saddam Hussein out of power, but in the process we absolutelty ruined a civilized country, and have a whole region who hates U.S. people for it now.
The one thing that has annoyed me a little about the election up to before the debate last night, is it seems the only thing being debated was the past military records of the two candidates. Sprinkle on a little "Iraq talk", and that's all that's been talked about.
The issues should really start heating up now. One area where Im surprised Kerry hasn't tried slamming Bush is on his environmental policies (or in Bush's case: lack there of). I seriously have the feeling that if Bush could make a dollar for every tree he allowed to be cut down, there would be no more trees left. He's opened up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to logging and oil drilling. He wouldn't sign the Keyoto Accord a couple of years ago which would have set in worldwide standards to stop the spread of Global Warming and to study it further. Bush seriously doesn't believe that global warming even exists (it's a widely accepted theory, but not fact yet).
For all that being said, I think Bush f'd this one up too much, so Im ready to see a new guy in power. Im voting for Kerry.
The key to the election is the younger vote. The 18-30 year olds. Younger people are on average more liberal than older people, and most will vote for Kerry. But voter turnout among those ages of people is always much less than older people, who usually vote more conservative. Most of them will vote for Bush.
So if the younger people come out and vote in stronger numbers, Kerry will win. If they don't, Bush will win. Fuck the issues, it's as simple as that. Based on past historical voter turnout trends, that's a theory that very much goes in Bush's favor, because younger people just don't vote in high numbers. I hope the youth get out and vote. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

P.S.: The poll in here supports my theory so far. Most of us are young, and we want to vote for change. That's why no one has voted for Bush so far in this poll.
ONE NOTE TO EVERYONE THOUGH: DON'T BASH ANY BUSH SUPPORTERS IN HERE. EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINION AND THEIR VOTE. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

I am French and you know what thinks Bush and American who supports him of French. I never liked Bush, even before his election against Al Gore and after what it did... I remain polished. I do not know Kerry, but I think that should be changed the current situation. I do not know if kerry can do something, but it is perhaps a solution. In any case not Bush again. |

I'm voting for Kerry...if Bush wins, me and my friends are gonna get drafted into a war that is looking less and less like a mission and more like finishing what Daddy Bush couldn't. Cheeba Lover,
Your reply of "You don't like either of them" is actually the way a lot of U.S. citizens feel about the candidiates, but here's the deal. As many people are voting for Kerry because they hate Bush more than they like Kerry as people who like Kerry are voting for Kerry. This might be the first Presidential election in quite awhile where people are voting for the challenger just because they hate the incumbent so much. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like...
