Lucky you! I expect great pictures/clips/whatever you can share!
In the meantime, I'm stuck here waiting for the North American tour... and if the release of the album in the US is any indication, I suppose I'm in for quite the wait. *sighs* _________________ *I'm steppin' out, so cut me loose...* |

That could be a real treat since the atmosphere is always so relaxed, and being held in the lake just gives a special charm. All the performers attending this festival always say they don't find their gig as just another one in the row, but something special. Hope Jamiroquai will feel the same.. |

Well it was a bitter sweet night last night. Finally seeing Jamiroquai after 5 years so I was really excited. The show started unexpectedly with Main Vein which threw me off because I was expecting Rock Dust Light Star. At first I thought there was something wrong with the sound because Jay's voice sounded weird but that was not the case as we soon found out that he had serious issues with his throat. He was coughing almost betwen every song and his woice sounded rough. At couple points I thought that they would end the show early but I have to give massive credit to Jay for toughing it out and playing an almost complete set. The crowd was realy enthusiastic and was cheering him on which was great to see, he said Thank You so many times.
I have mixed feelings about the songs they played, some of them were changed so much and were almost completely new songs like Feels Just Like It Should (didn't like what they have done to it) and Canned Heat (a bit better). But on the other hand Love Foolosophy, Alright and Travelling Without moving were amazing especially Love Folosophy which lasted forever with that instrumental break with horns, that was beautiful. The new songs fitted in great. What can I say Jay has still got the moves. When he couldn't sing he would let the band play or do some crazy move that only he can pull off.
I guess that they will have to come back again to make it up to us.
Setlist:
Main Vein
Cosmic Girl
You Give Me Something
Smoke & Mirrors
Little L
Canned Heat
Hurtin
Feels Just Like It Should
Love Foolosophy
Travelling Without Moving
Alright
Deeper Underground
White Knuckle Ride |
