So hi everybody, I'm Martin from France ! I'm a fan since 2009 and I saw the band 3 times (TV Show le Grand Journal, Bercy and Casino de Paris). I'm 17 and well, my english isn't perfect but I'll do my best ^^ And of course I will take my ticket to Bercy on November ! |

Hi Jamily! I don't remember if I first posted here or under "US Fans," but my name is Denise, I am from NY, and I am a Jamiro-loonie. Not really, but they ARE hands-down my favorite contemporary band and have been since the mid-90s.
I love funk, jazz, R&B, disco, and especially HOUSE. It is a blessing to have a band who can combine ALL of those styles whilst playing REAL instruments and singing w/o the aid of autotune.
Jay is my absolute favorite singer. I LOVE his voice. He sings the way I would sing if I had singing talent, and he & the band write the music I would write if I could. (I hope that makes sense!) Hearing JMQ's music is like taking my heart, throwing it on a turntable or computer, and hitting "play."
I love Jay's swagger, style, and attitude as well. I truly believe he is the male version of me, my brother from another mother.
I have many, many "tune stories," etc. to share, so as time permits, I will do so if you care to hear them. I plan to have MORE stories after I see them for the first time in BARCELONA as part of my Mediterranean Summer Holiday. Yes, we are finally doing it.
For now I must get back to work. (sigh)

Hi Denise and a big welcome.I have not been here long but am a fan since around 2000.(not long compared with many).Have a great Med holiday.I am in Switzerland,and ,on the day Smile was released,had news that I will be working at the Montreux Jazz Festival.I'm so excited,will be in security and access .So,if you or any one around,give me a call. Uuhh, but... I still have a problem for my avatar --> " Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 88 KB. " Any picture I choose are wrong with this, so if someone could tell me how it works please ???
