Only talking about AFO - really love AFO. I know it gets some flack. And probably because it is more electronic. But I can appreciate the music even if not traditional band.

Why I love AFO: I love the disco vibe throughout. However we could delete #4 and #7 and I'd be happy. Wink
My favorite part is the wind chimes in the beginning.

Love-Feel So Good, Little L, You Give Me Something, Love Foolosophy, Main Vein, Twenty Zero One.

I like Stop, Don't Panic, but Picture of My Life, is really a great song, but so sad and kinda hard to end that album with that song. It's so bitter sweet. But then the hidden track comes out and brings you back up. "Feels so good" 2? Still not sure it's true name. Embarassed I thought it was the hidden track "So Good to Feel Real", but that one includes (Do it like we used to do).

EOPE - 4
ROSC - 3.5
TWM - 4.5
SYNC - 2.5
AFO - 5
DYN - 3.5
RDLS - 5

I got into them in 97, TWM and i always remember putting it on and cos i'd heard Vir Ins obviously the first one i heard was cosmic girl and i thought, 'this is my kind of stuff!' and i've been a die hard ever since!

I went out and got the first 2 albums but didn't care for Synk but when i think back i still have a good few songs on it i like eg canned heat and soul education and butterfly.

AFO for me was them back to their best and i loved it, absolutely fantastic - love foolosophy - say no more!

Dynamite was a decent album but RDLS is a fabulous album for me, a settled band and just amazing music and devastating hooks.

BTW radio is really underrated from High Times, Best of - if anyone hasn't seen the utube concert of them playing The Scala in London - the version of Radio going into Feels Like It Should and Love Foolosophy going into Time Won't Wait just show how good the band line up is!!

cheers!

Weighing in...

EOPE - 4.5

ROTSC - 5

TWM - 5

SYNC - 3.5

AFO - 4

DYN - 3

RDLS - 4

For me, three is the magic number for whether I like or even purchase an album. This means that I need to LOVE at least 3 of the songs. Fortunately, I can say this about all of Jamiroquai's albums. Even the relatively lacklustre or "cookie cutter" type albums always have a few superb standouts. For instance, Dynamite is probably my least favorite, relatively speaking, but it has SDISJ, Starchild, and Time Won't Wait... all of which are phenomenal tracks. So it's always money well spent! Smile

Well, this rating is according to my musical taste, not by musical standards ! .. That kind of rating would be different. And the fact is, there is nothing on Dynamite and RDLS that catches me. As a matter of fact I think I´ve never heard twice a track of any of those albums. Still, I am nuts for the 93 - 99 period.
