yeah great video but the amount of cameras
why bother going?
i think apple have created a camera recognition laser which immobilises your phone camera/video but not sure when it's out.
Also the official t-shirts are terrible quality in the universal shop, i sent my navy bm one straight back. The Rock one is ok & can't believe Dyego's design i there _________________

Hi Jamily! I have finally had some time to pause, ponder, reflect, and unpack (more or less), and I must weigh in on the concerts, since I fought tooth and nail to see them in both Nice and Barcelona.
Although the circumstances around each concert were very different, I can combine them into one, becuase the concerts were identical (to my slight disappointment.) From the (great) house music playing before the set, to the set, to the WKR encore, to Beck's "Loser" being played immediately afterwards, clearing out the place fairly quickly.
All in all, the concert was spectacular. In light of recent news about JK possible health issues, he was noticeably low-key during both shows. He wore a loose poncho and matador-style hat, very 'latin' - and he walked around and grooved out, but it was clear he was taking it easy. Voice sounded great, awesome arrangements, tight playing.
This was my first 2 shows ever, but of course I have seen many YT vids. During this particular tour, you can really see them as a BAND here, a collective unit. Perhaps this is due to Jay's mellower persona.
In any case, I loved the music, the biggest highlight of which was "Love Foolosophy", which was about 13 minutes long and EPIC. It began as a heartfelt slow song, accellerated into the bouncy version we all know and love, and climaxed in a salsified coda.
It looks like lots of videos are posted, so you can get a sense of the music. The venues were like night and day, the fabulously regal oudoor forum of Poble Espanyol in Barcelona being "Light Years" better. The energy was palpable and contagious.
The only thing missing? Space Cowboy. That, and EOPE (in light of all of the recent planetary crises) added to the setlist would've propelled these shows into the stratosphere and would've been great opportunities for the band to really make a powerful, transcendent STATEMENT. As it was, it felt like it was very 'business as usual'. Understandable, since it has been a grueling tour.
All things considering, I was thrilled to have seen them, not once but twice, and I eagerly await the day when they can really let down their hair and "jam" away. Judging by the number of cameras/smartphones out there, it WILL inevitably wind up on YT. _________________ ~~~"To perchance upon this circumstance is something of a miracle so spiritual, it's verging on the physical."~~~ |

yes but in cam though. it's not really worth watching like that as it ruins it in my opinion.
hope some of these gigs come out on dvd or a blu ray tour one would be really special as mentioned before _________________
