I didn't know this artist, but I recognise so much from the old JMQ in his music. Do you know if he really had an influence on Jay and the guys? |

Well, I don´t think I ever saw Jay or the guys mentioning Lonnie, but if I had to bet, I would be quite sure they know his work and were influenced by him, mainly Toby. Also, they have mentioned on interviews all the other artists on the same circle as Lonnie, such as Ayers, Byrd, Herbie, and so on, so it is quite probable they were into his music _________________ Away from soliloquies of sadness
