Happy new year everyone! I'll make this brief as I'm still out in the city but wow, the band was on fire last night. Awesome solos, great set and long, long, long versions of love fool and canned heat (seemed to be at least 15 mins+, brilliant).
I ended up in the front row, most people were up out of their seats so as long as you had a diamond ticket (ie first 5 rows) it was quite easy to get a spot up against the barrier. There was one man behind us that would literally hit me and anyone that got in his view with his walking stick. Fair enough that he mightn't of been able to get up and dance like everyone else up the front, but to hit people was ridiculous! Security took care of him pretty quickly though.
It was unbelievably surreal to be there. By far the best night of my life. They were running pretty tight on time but Jay insisted that they finish off with Deeper Underground... They finished with about 40 seconds to go until midnight
I'll type up a more detailed report tonight or tomorrow, but in a nutshell it was everything I hoped for and more
Setlist (not too sure about the order)
RDLS
Main Vein
Cosmic Girl
High Times
Little L
You Give Me Something
Use The Force
Love Foolosophy
Canned Heat
Travelling Without Moving
Scam Break
Alright
White Knuckle Ride
Deeper Underground |

Hi dvtch - so glad someone was able to make a copy of this! I had a couple of people I know on the case, but I didn't get home from Sydney in time before their recordings expired...
Would sharing the recording as a torrent be possible? Are you able to give us some more details about the recording itself, ie. total time, video resolution, etc? That would be great.
Where abouts in the country are you? I'm in the Melbourne area. I guess if it comes to it, it might be possible to work out a physical exchange of it on some sort of recordable media...?
I'd really love for this recording to get out there, because what I remember from being there (!), it was such a good gig! I had the best time anyway, haha! _________________

Ideally, as little compression as possible would be best, and that resolution is perfect for PAL DVD so no dramas there.
I don't suppose you would be willing to share that unedited native file you recorded? I know it's quite large, but if you have no issues with your bandwidth, if you make a torrent, it can take its time... I personally have no problem with huge files and would prefer the best quality recording as possible.
If we have the raw file available, then some of the talented people on here could create an authored DVD with menu, fan made cover art, etc. _________________

I just did a quick google search - they were supposed to be popular trackers - perhaps not.
I've added your suggested trackers from this end but I'm not sure it made a difference? I'll try a few more things. Bear with me. |

| The file runs for just under 90minutes once edited. I think the PPV channel did something dodgy with it because after one of the songs they cut to an ad break (yes, I was fuming since it was supposed to be a PPV) when they come back and waste time talking, they cut back to Jamiroquai who are half way through another song - I have no idea why they did this but there you go |
I think that's because out of the actual two hour set, they only broadcast an hour and a half of it. The first half hour was a delayed telecast and then when it jumped back part way through a track, that was when they cut to live footage. _________________
