We sort of moved between the VIP area and the back of General Admission most of the night. Security were ok with us taking drinks out into the GA area so we just went back and forth ferrying out booze to our friends that didn't get the VIP pass.

Unbelievable. Just watched it... they cut out Canned Heat. It's a real shame because the new arrangement is incredible. There are a few YouTube videos of it at other gigs but this would've been a good opportunity to have a decent recording of it. |

I noticed Main Event is putting the show on PPV again on the 8th Jan and also for Australia Day on 26th Jan. I guess there's a chance they might show the whole thing uncut, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

I've only seen a couple of videos, but I can definetely say is one of their best performances. Don't know if it is because the sound is better (you can hear Sola a lot better; the brass section sounds amazing), or maybe Jay (you can clearly hear him singing different at the beginning of TWM; and his ad-libbing was a lot more original than previous shows), but I love how this concert sounds. |
