Hello,
Ever since I saw the mainstream music scene embrace Robin Thicke, I sarcastically thought to myself, "They're only accepting him cause Justin Timberlake doesn't have an album out." But I wish he would have the 'growth factor' that Justin effortlessly showed, instead of having to rely on so many 'guest artist appearances' on his efforts. Yes, he could very well catapult to a Timberlake level eventually but he really needs to go out on his own for a whole album...but that seems like an impossibility when your mainstream artist. Cheers!
Sincerely,

I see no reason to compare him to JT, this album is a total mix of different genres, he takes a trip to rock, soul, hip-hop, new jack swing, mellow ballads and flamenco as well while JT's sound is way more consistent. Voice-wise I admit they sound the same but apart from that they're different story |
