If you want to reserve one before Record Store Day, I did at Madison's Strictly Discs: http://www.strictlydiscs.com/page/about/us/intheknow?id=105 I know they ship in the U.S., and I'm almost 100% sure they do internationally. Quite excited for this!

Okay, so I have a local record store (Streetcorner Music) that is releasing the RDLS vinyl packaged with a CD this Saturday! Very Happy

I didn't know what Record Store Day meant, but it is like a music holiday
apparently every year!

So the albums are in the store in boxes. Price yet to be determined.
Out Saturday morning! Very Happy

Oh, and btw, there are no bonus tracks listed (unless there's a hidden track)

'Record Store Day' is a pretty important holiday, especially for music fans, given the rainbow of special and in some cases 'rare releases' that are put out on the day. Pretty much this holiday is a reminder that people should still buy music at their independent record stores across the U.S./Europe, after all, they are the lifeblood of the music industry. But yeah, really cool they are bundling a CD copy of RDLS with the Vinyl release, that has become a trend in vinyl music releases as of late, since Radiohead popularized it with their last albums 'King Of Limbs/InRainbows'. Anyway, I appears that now I will be buying this, if I was to guess a price on the RDLS Vinyl/CD bundle, it should be around the $25-$35 range since I have seen the same price range on vinyl/CD bundle releases in the past Record Store Days. Very Happy LET'S BUY RDLS LIKE MAD MONKEYS TOMORROW THROUGH THE 24TH IN THE STATES Very Happy !!! Cheers for the additional info Sister Honeybee!

*UPDATE* I called around my local indie records stores and I can confirm, the double vinyl/CD bundle release of 'Rock Dust Light Star' will be $24.99, and luckily both of my local chains will be getting it, but bear in mind it's a 'special release' so some stores might not be getting it...so check around your local stores...

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

A chain of stores in the Northeast called, Newbury Comics, will also be selling the double LP and CD version. Limited to only 2500 pieces! Additionally, I just called but they were unable to tell which stores will get them...

buffaloman_R Hello again, buffaloman_R

Got up bright and early and made the jont to my local indie record store and picked up my RDLS Vinyl/CD Bundle. I just took pictures of everything in it, though I hate to say it, no bonus tracks were on either the CD/Vinyl... Crying or Very sad . I was hoping they would have attached 'Smile' or one of the other bonus deluxe edition tracks as a 'hidden track', I guess even Universal Music couldn't get that right either. Anyway, I not completely disappointed, it's a solid release but some kind of bonus would really have made up for the elongated long wait for an American release. Here is a link to my photo album on my Facebook with my picture captures of this new Jamiroquai release...enjoy! :

Well, I bought simply because it's the first new Jamiroquai release in the states in nearly...uhhh...*does the mental math and gets a slight headache*....6-7 years. Plus I had to show 'fan solidarity' and support Jami here in the states, even if it's not what I had imagined RDLS would look like promoted in the states (I'll be honest, compared to the 'Sony style' of past Jamiroquai releases, this is incredibly low par, even for a 1st Jami release on Universal Music!). But if you are short on money, just wait to snag the CD release this coming Tuesday OR on digital pay download...for me, the vinyl/CD bundle is more collector's item due to the low amounts that were manufactured. But hopefully with the next album cycle, which should start for Jamiroquai by at least next year, Universal Music will get better footing and promote the next album with a little more forethought/execution...that's all we can hope. Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Correct me if I am wrong, but you think Jamiroquai is going to make another album in a year or so?

Also I think I will go out and buy the bundle at my local store with hopes that the sale could bring them to tour here next winter!
