Midnight Funk
I was just thinking even though there's only a few seconds of the sample out there, I wonder what song Midnight Funk went onto being on Synkronized? My thoughts are it could be what either Planet Home or Soul Education was. I hope that someday the full version of Midnight Funk gets released somehow, it's a crime that this has never leaked in full and it could even be the funkiest song the band's ever made, it just sounds so groovy. |

It would be lovely if that happens, it seems to be the most desired unreleased track amongst the Jamily too. It would be awesome if for an anniversary or something they released a set of unreleased tracks onto the web or something like they did with Smile. Like Greg says it would be great to have studio or demo versions of Funk Odyssey, Canabliss and Shoot The Moon (another popular request amongst the Jamily). The next milestone coming up on the Jamiro calendar is the UK 20th anniversary release of Emergency On Planet Earth on the 17th this month, I wonder if the band have anything planned for it. |

Why don't we just bug Derrick until he finally asks Jay? |

This is just my opinion, so please just take that into consideration.
"Midnight Funk" (unofficial track name) is probably one of the symphonized tracks Zender did not want Jay releasing.
To be honest it's nothing really that spectacular. Sounds very identical like a mixture of Scam and Mr. Moon. _________________

Agree - Zender probably had his foot in the whole 8 measures of Midnight Funk but still awesome!
and yes Kabas is awesome! |
