Unreleased Studio Songs
Hi, how many unreleased Jamiroquai studio songs do we know about? And I mean to say, songs that are known, but the studio version has never been heard.
These are off the top of my head:
(all songs from symphonised )
Synkronized
(Potential James Bond track)
Funk Odyssey
Cannabliss
Shoot the Moon
Your Window is a Crazy Television |

Yeah, I remember a video where they were recording TWM and there's was a blackboard with song names, and a new one we never heard.
Also: "Superhighway". |

I think it was "Lost In Love".
Destitute Illusions (vocal version) was planned to be a James Bond track. And the title track Synkronized was supposed to be released on April 2000 according to Jay himself on a french magazine (his right words was : the new single synkronized will be released on april. It will be fantastic !)
But it didn't and I don't know why...but I'm still waiting ! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Interesting info JD. I didn't know about DI having a vocal version for a James Bond film. Also, another article that interviewed producer Al Stone about the making of supersonic mentioned the title track as well:
"We also had two tracks, 'Planet Home' and 'Synkronized', which had entirely sampled sounds played in."
Lost In Love is the other track I was trying to remember!! I saw a video on youtube that showed the track written on a dry erase board. There's a thread somewhere on here that talks about that track. Someone found a background singer who had the song listed in their resume.
Also!! This thread features a bunch of songs with filed copyrights which Brent dug up a while back: http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7447&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
Here's the tracks we haven't heard (except for TCDT):
1823168 Aint No
1823169 Confusion
1823170 Don't Have To Prove It
1823171 How It Should Be
1823172 In The Sunshine
1823173 Sunshine In Your Sky
1823174 Togetherland
2072611 Lost Souls
2088979 Mr Boogie
4283648 Bite Our Style
4473766 Heaven
4473775 Life Force
5030809 Who Do You Believe In
5159269 Jamiroquai
(recorded in the dynamite era:)
7642216 Two Completely Different Things
(I wonder if this is 'Your window is a crazy television'?)
8024408 Crazy Life
8423691 Going Deeper |

Hi there,
- I guess "Lost Souls" is nothing but the duet with Guru from Jazzmatazz.
- "Who do you believe in" is the 2Pac tune sampling Jamiroquai (hence the credits, I guess)
- and (pure assumption here), "Going Deeper" could be an early name for Deeper Underground ?
Cheers ! |

Thank you for the info Trolll. I did a google search for 'Togetherland' and it turns out that name refers to a 4th album recorded by seal which also included the track named 'Heaven'. Apparently warner bros never released Seal's original 4th album because they were dissatisfied with the results.
That makes me wonder about the validity of the remaining tracks.
Ok, so Bite Our Style is a Missy Elliot song that sampled Morning Glory. |
