All of the people in that picture next to Jay were obviously and clearly negro, and I see tags that say Uncle Jay and shit. Lord.
The fact one of the guy in the picture is an independent DJ means nothing. |
Ok, so the person who's Instagram account has the picture is Rachel Marsh. She's married to Roy Marsh (Roy the Roach - an old buddy of Jay's from back in the 90s) and the two boys are their kids. They're not actually related to Jay.
And... it's pretty hard to be an uncle if you don't have any brothers or sisters and aren't married yourself. But it's cool man, I can see how it would be an easy mistake to make. _________________

Yeah, she said that.
I bet there's gonna be like 10 or 15 photos during the release of the album and then nothing for 10 years. |
Lmao, I think you're going to end up being correct about that. _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it. |

Smellbob that seems rude.
Race isn't legitimate -it's about the region of where we come from and the culture of where we live that make us diverse and unique.

...and we can now officially change the title of this topic !
Time-travelling back to page 1, the topic for the (potentially) forthcoming new album started in October 2012, with a first tentative date for Autumn 2013!
...and Happy New Year, Jamirotalkers! |
Happy New Year to everyone and adjusted again accordingly. |

It's still amazing to think the band's last album released in 2010, I remember the thread with everyone posting photos of themselves grinning with their copy of RDLS : ) I was in the military and still married and my daughter was 1 years old. Now she is 7 and I'm divorced and a military veteran, lmao This new album should be awesome! _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. Wow that's crazy.
I think almost seven years is a lot of time for a band that has been active. You know, is not like they split or retired for a few years.
Considering all the time they took to record this one, I expect nothing but greatness.
I hope we don't have to wait for eight years for the next one, though. |

we would never see a jay kay solo album bc jamiroquai is jay. we can dance around the fact, say its a band and all have equal say but thats not true at all. jay pays the members. i do wonder how many days it will be until an official word is given. |

My life is also quite different from what it was back 7 years ago. That motivated me to create a thread like "how has your life changed between RDLS and the new album?" _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

Ok i know this a total guess but i thought it was interesting to share with you guys. I'm now kind of believing that Jami have signed to XL and that it could have not been only someone messing with the wiki page.
What i thought interesting is that i started to saw some icons and stuff that was used on the Jami holding page, and i know that much of these are from packs that are used by all web devs, so i then decided to look through the web page source code. and the way it was done, even the way it's arranged and the naming convention used for the elements are equal(and there is no universal naming convention). So it kind of hinted me that is seems to be the same coder.
Ok, again, this is totally a GUESS but i do think that both websites have the same style when it came to its coding, which is kind of personal of each dev.

We need a new thread called "New Album Theories" and then delete it the day the ACTUAL album comes out. This thread is getting way too bogged down with foolishness. _________________ "...200 miles per hour and still movin'..." |

From Paul Turner:
"Thanks for all the DMs and tweets asking for updates on Jamiroquai. I don't like appearing rude, but to allow for a consistent and definitive message, we're not answering until everything is confirmed and made public. Won't be long..." |
