So it seems that Jays face was photoshoped by the same lame photoshoper who had done the RDLS cover, am I right? |

It's not great, but it's not terrible either. It's better than RDLS.
It looks more like a promo shot than an album cover, but it ties in with the clip and perhaps it'll sit better when it's a 2LP gatefold cover with more artwork.
It's very much along the "JK IS JAMIROQUAI" line, but it's making it pretty explicit this time. Who knows, it might suit the music really well.
I like the light up hat anyway, and JK looks well, so why not. |

Now that I see it again, these look like waxwork JKs, and I think that's on purpose. I've a feeling the video is going to show a row of JKs lined up like this photo, and one will step forward and do something.
And anyway, how do we know this is the album cover, and that the first single isn't the title track and this is the cover for that? |

It could be, it could be. But it is in the Amazon album page. |

It's not terrible, but not good too. It's a regular cover.
My only question is: Why not the Buffalo Man?? |

How can such a great band lose so much originality over the years? _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

It's probably just the cover for the single. I'm not too worried about it if it's not though. |

That's basically the font from the 80s sci-fi film Blade Runner by Ridley Scott. Hmmm. In that film, the main character is hunting Replicants who are automatons. So there is definitely some inspiration drawn from Blade Runner I believe, at least where the album cover is concerned. _________________ If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. Yeah, there's a recurring theme. |

Sure is!
So 80's synth,
Font from an 80's movie,
and no Rutger Hauer or unicorns!!!
This is an outrage.
Seriously, though, to borrow the rights to use that font makes me question if that cover is real. However it wouldn't be the first time Jay referenced an 80's Sci Fi film. |
