Funkiroquai, if that's the new song, please delete your posting. No sharing of copyrighted material here, please. Thanks.

I dont post very often. I just came here to write this: The song is horrible. OMG its so bad my ears cry blood. I hope that what we listened today is just a remix and not the official sample.

We read this already, there's no need to post the same message in every thread. Users here usually read every topic.

2017 Transmission
I´m in love with this sound. Totally unexpected however amazing and maybe this is just a part of what they can do (and do it well). We have 11 more songs (and maybe 2-3 extra) to see how they can sound IN 2017, maybe some tunes alike from early 00´s and from the 90´s.

Evolution and new styles are part of the things that let us have Jamiroquai after 25 years! Please let the past be part of the past, and take the chance to enjoy their classic and new music (We are lucky!)

Music doesn't age. People are still into smooth R&B/Jazz grooves

The song is absolute shit. I'm sorry you guys. Jay can do WAY better than this.

That album cover is very beautiful though.

I hope the rest of the tracks aren't as bland and boring as that one.

You can still make groovy house/electro music with smooth bridges and shit.

I need a drink.

My progress of emotions while listening to the teaser, the snippet and now finally the whole song:

excited bounce
.
.
shocked scream
.
.
confused tock tock balla balla roll eyes
.
.
surprised One more Eek
.
.
curious 2scratchchin
.
.
entertained 2bouncy
.
.
thrilled fire jump
.
.
in love love5
.
.
addicted 7headphones

the sound for me is a mixture of unexpected sounds and familiar vibes. I dig it!!

how cool it that rap part??!!! offwall

I have already pictures of the live performance in my mind… laser beams, a landing ufo, robotic moves…. jays new hat… this will be awesome!!! Perfect song to open a futuristic show.

I'm totally with you and last night I need more than one drink to handle the shock .
If the other tracks sounds like this, then they have lost their uniqueness, their DNA.

What a piece of crap.... Rolling Eyes
I guess it is another Album I wont buy or even bother listen to just like that Rock crap dark dust star or what the name was of that last album.

I really hope Zender can release his music soon. I have heard some pieces from his new album. It is really good and it has more Jamiroquai-feeling than what I just heard... Shocked

Zender's been making that album for 20 years... Whatever happened to Azur? And Running Out Of Heroes? I don't know what it is, but he doesn't ever seem to be able to release anything. He should just put out what he wants, he's got his own label now (White Buffalo Recordings).
