'Automaton CDS' Promo Is Potentially Imminent
I'm sure alot of the 'collector' wing of the Jamily is familiar with all the past Jamiroquai 'promo CDS' that have come out before an official single release. Whelp, I just saw on the latest 'bpm supreme 0302' DJ compilation CD two new edits of Jam's "Automaton" listed on the tracklist:

This is usually an indicator that 'single cds promo' is either currently out or imminent for release by record labels, to either DJs for 'single remixing' or 'studio album mixing'. Just thought I would note this after discovering it yesterday...

I had to look it up to be sure, but as suspected, in the music world, 'clean' just means there's no swear words in the song

maybe the clean edit is just the song without the noises we hear in the video when the hat moves?
as for te promo being out soon, i also guess the radio stations got already a promo cd with the track...

Hasn't it all gone digital now?
I don't think radios or DJs care much about CDs nowadays...
(but we did read somewhere here that someone mastered a 10" single, so they should at least release that!) |

It's 50/50 right now in regards to the 'distribution' of DJ CDs, most of the DJ sites are now offering both 'digital/physical' releases of mixtapes for pay download/purchase.
