Okay I need to ask about Monica Cruz...
Anyone else wondering why Monica is featuring in the mirosphere ?
Why if Jay is married, are we about to see MC (presumably as a love interest) in the next video?
Ok a lot of assumptions by me here but what's else is she likely to be? Come on. 
No one find this a bit strange since he's now married and all?

Why does his private life should be tied with his job?
What does his private life has to do with the music, and why is it important?
I don't care who appear on a video, it's only entertainment, I don't care if he is married, if he has a child, who is his parent, I only want him to do music. |

I don't think it's strange. Assuming that Monica Cruz will appear in the Cloud 9 video, she's probably portraying Jay's wife/girlfriend. Because they simply don't want to expose the lady, so they hire an actress that represents her. Or Monica could be acting as Jay's former love interest of which he sings about on the song. Who knows! Let's wait and see.

I agree that we must respect his privacy but at the same time I think is hard to believe that a musician's piece of work is not related to it's personal life. Actually, it has a lot to do with it, because music is expression. Cloud 9 is about the happiness of finding someone who cares about you after a poor relationship... "You lost my love/But someone found it".
So I think it's ok to talk about the stuff we see on lyrics, videos, interviews, because that's what he let us know. Of course I'm here for the music (ain't we all?), but I honestly feel glad that Jay is happy at this point in his life, after a lot of conflictuous lyrics... AFO was a very personal album by the way.

I agree with Javis.
Him having a family is neither here nor there when it comes to work. I believe the man to be professional enough to discern between when to engage in a personal matter and when to put on your business face.
Maybe I should say it like this:
Just because he's a man, does not mean he wants to do every woman he sees.
Give him some credit. |

I can see from the reactions a lot of fans have pegged me as a troll on this one. Like a pot stirrer.
But it couldn't be further from the truth.
I love this band dearly.
And me asking those things is not a sign of disrespect or lack of courtesy, this is an open forum with inquiring minds who are big fans.
By writing what I wrote I am not:
* Saying the man is suspect in his marital affairs! Lol
* Being a nosey Sun/Mail newspaper
I was just saying I found it interesting.
Believe me I care about a lot more other things this band does than this 1 tiny thing.

I don't think anyone is calling you a troll. We're saying that it makes no sense to think something is going on between Jay and Monica just because she's in his new video.
It's just a stupid assumption. No offense to you.  |

This has gone down not the way I wanted it to!
Looking back at what I wrote, I think it came out wrong when I wrote it.
I wasn't assuming something is going on between the two people.
I don't.
It was more of just a brief passing in the wind point (not even a 'topic') about the new video.
I was coming at it more from the angle..
'perhaps people know jay as the [party guy of old, frollickign with lovely women, perhaps this video will try to be that again' kidn of thing, or will it be a story where Monica turns out not to be 'the one' in the video..

Because u don't put your real gf in music videos if u wanna have a private life...is soooo obvius 
Also, will be really stupid to show the real jay gf in a video, because he always said he cares about have a life besides music, so monica is just a girl in the video to show a ''whatever girl'' based on the meaning of the song...
I like that jay try to covers his private life, is very smart of him
