Despite the years, I think phpBB is still one of the best cheap discussion board solutions around. There are better and more modern solutions around but it would need much more ressources to run and as a consequence cost you quite a lot.
I also love the idea of being able to come back here and see posts from 2002. Not so many long-running websites have that advantage.
You could eventually migrate to phpBB 3.2 since this current board is running an outdated and vulnerable version of it. However I don't think this website needs so much changes. |

Even though we are far less users now than back then, I like the forum. I would not change it! Maybe upgrade the design from funk odyssey to Automation? 
But I was a little disappointed you didn't do a star rating poll, like you did with Rock Dust Light Star  |
