Alex Meadows is the new bass player, but nobody knows a damn thing about him! We'll just have to wait and see how he works out with the group....

I did think about this the other day and it did concern me quite alot.

Really only Derrick and Sola go way back now with Jay, and with Nick leaving, an awesome bassist...the new guy has a HELL of alot to live up to.

Sad

The name Alex Meadows is mentioned a lot, but i think, according to what Sola said, that Jamiroquai has searched a long time (or are still searching) for a new bassist. I'm not so sure Alex Meadows is the new bassist.

Metal-Funky style...used to fit good to the old Incubus songs...good thing he left! Whats he doing now? Dont think he'd fit in Jamiroquai though...too rocky, plus he's American, and yes that IS a big deal...wont exactly blend in easily if you know what I mean...

oh yes and with this cool dude: Razz

"The development of each individual track has varied greatly, but the first step was usually Jay coming to us with an idea in his head. He'd sing the bassline, or the beat, and then I'd play what he was singing and develop the idea acoustically." Razz

Dont get me wrong guys...i love them all Very Happy
but we all know that without super cool wonderful amazing mister Kay there wouldnt be anything!!! Razz

but what about Toby? they said he would still

As for the new bass player, we don't know anything for sure yet. Only that they are still searching, according to Sola ...
