Title Rumour and the bassists on 6th album!
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I found this page: http://ejepo.com/blog/archives/000037.php where they discuss about another possible album title: 'Escape While You Can'.
Mmm... First Dynamite, now this!! But they're just rumours like always so---who knows
BUT to make sure where this information comes from, I add this last user to my MSN, hope to catch it to let him/her know me about this news .

Hi everyone this is my first post I've just signed in
I'm from Peru but I know a bit of japanese so I could understand sthg in the article. Sorry to say that there's nothing new. It says that the new Jamiroquai album should come out in October 27th 2004, I think the guy wonders if BDC and Shoot the Moon will be included in it, but he doesn't mention any title, not even "Dynamite"
My English is terrible haha

Well... this album title's better than 'Dynamite'...
the only thing i wanna know: where does this people take all that information???? any site had said that.... 'Escape While You Can', well i think it's better than 'Dynamite' but definitively it's not better than 'A Funk Odyssey', 'Synkronized', 'Travelling Without Moving', 'The Return of the Space Cowboy' or 'Emergency on Planet Earth'..... by the way, Hi Jamirobeto!!! hehehh we are very happy of having you here... My name's Edgar, and i really want to invite you to know everybody here... well... got to go!!! Bye.... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

It could be the name of a song on the new album that got confused as the album title
Well, it's better than Dynamite anyway, I'd love to see what they'd do for the cover if 'Escape while you can' is the genuine title! _________________

Rumour me this....
Hello,
Hi, I know, I'm not posting as avidly has I did in the past, but once more news comes out, I'll be here in full force. In regards to this new rumoured 6th album title, definitely agree with everyone that this is purely a "rumour". I think we're going to have alot of "rumoured 6th album titles" in the coming months, till Derrick or Sola can come online and spill the beans to us on what the actual title will be. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Hello there,
By now, I guess all this discussion about the Jamiroquai's sixth album name is just a way to keep active the jamiroquai news until the disc be released in the next months. I've been little bored with all this: rumours about Jay, Sola & Derrick's words, supossed titles, dates and tracks. Anyway, is really a good thing the fan pages keep a bit of the groove coming since past times and some news, 'cos I've listened many times the same question...Did jamiroquai released another disc? I'm so exciting waiting for new material and hoping to get more info soon.
About j-love page, I always used to translate the follow page:
http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation
When use it, you need to check the second option (although is in japanese) at the bottom of the url address box you want to translate.
Hoping this help, Nicolas . _________________ I'm slidin' down the wall

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Just wanted to add that www.funkin.com has put news on it's page, and the last one is pretty interesting!:
Quote:
UK motoring television show Top Gear were looking for a Ferrari Enzo to film for a feature report and on last weeks show (31 Oct), the presenter was explaining how hard it was to source one, saying, "We even asked Jay Kay if we could borrow his, but he said only if I can borrow your daughter, because that's what it equates to!" The outcome of it was that Jay didn't let them borrow his car.

For the new album which is due for release around March/April 2005, a selection of bass players have been used to give a different feel to some of the tracks. The band have used Alex Meadows, Derrick McIntyre (Roy Ayers) and Randy Hope-Taylor (Incognito, Jeff Beck). Julian Crampton, another well respected bass player, has been used on a mix of one of the tracks that Derrick McKenzie has worked on.
Now everything fits and the basists are damn cool! Finally some good news about this album!
OK. I've been posting to many topics lately, so Brent is posting and individual topic for this one to talk about:
