I didnt used to like Butterfly but i do now ... that regarding music... if we talk about lyrics I dont like when j starts repeating the same thing, specially when he sings "baby don't you know" like a thousand times in a lot of songs... that's maybe because my mother language is spanish and when you translate it to spanish sounds very stupid

Hi Jamiroworld!!
I really dont like King for a day, cant listen to it, and I agree with some of you about 2001, very poor and makes you wonder what its doing on the album!! In fact I found all the tracks on the last album, either Love em or Hate em tracks! Little L fantastic but Main Vein not so good, Love Foolosophy brilliant, but 2001 terrible! |

well.... in part i agree with you Star9... but there's something i want to say... after buying the Live in Verona DVD, i hated or i didn't like Main Vein and Twenty Zero One.... i went to Makro (a great store here) and i bought the DVD... when the concert started... i felt so excited with Twenty Zero One... ohh man this track was amazing... and the bass and guitars performance were the best ones... then... 8 tracks later was Main Vein... wow!! the last two minutes... after Jay dances on the break are amazing... even Sola was so excited of being there playing... and the women of the backgrounds too... so... since that moment... i've changed my point of view of those two songs... hope you understand...  well... bye!!

jmq songs that i hate...hmmm...lemme see....virtual insanity,space cowboy...emergency....ehmmm....all songs in rotsc...eope and twm....
heheh just kidding...
let just say i dont like AFO...
...too computerized and too machine manipulated...
BUT i do like the live version of AFO...
ahh what can i say..they're all good live performers...

I can't say that there is a Jamiroquai song that I dislike. There are some songs that I couldn't get into at first and now they are among my favorites. Here lately I've been into EOPE because of the political climate here in the states. That cd has been a real comfort and inspiration to me lately.
I guess if I had to pick a least favorite song it would be Twenty Zero One but, when I heard it on the Live in Verona DVD it sounded better in my mind. Its a powerful song.
As far as Main Vein goes, I love it because of Beverly Knight's vocals. She makes that song in my opinion.
I just can't think of a song I really dislike  |

I have never cared for the instrumental only songs. Some are ok, but I think mainly the Didgeroo songs bother me (sorry if I butchered the spelling). I just don't like them. In terms of lyrics, there's only one that I don't like very much. You guys can all sing along with me if you'd like:
 SUPERSONIC... SUPERSONIC... SUPERSONIC...
I really don't like that song lol

I dont like butterfly... in my opinion is a song that jamiroquai shouldent play in a live appearance. (just a opinion)
In murcia 2003, in the midnight sun tour when they played butterfly the faces looks like so bored at the final of the song...
I prefer another jamirosongs!

DE GUSTIBUS NON DICEBATUR!
first of all spend a lifetime is a good song but i dont expect slow songs from jami,i want fast songs full of funk,drums,guitar,percussions...
planet home is just a song that i cant really dig..i dont know why
