Zender bender
Hello all
ok, some fellow jami kids and I are fighting about why Zender actually left the band.
Can someone please settle this once and for all and enlighten us?
Cheers,
dan |

well, as far as i know it never was really explained to the fans. the official message was something like 'they disagree in the way the music is supposed to go'. but the behind the hand-talk said, they had a fight over a girl and jay didn't want to have him in the band anymore. what would be much more interessting to me would be a recording of the never released synkronized-songs.
i have two 30-second-clips of them and they sound so differently from the album. _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

Hmmm, thanks bear but we're still arguing over those 2 reasons.
Where do never released jami songs go? Is there some big secret vault at sony? Did Zender eat them? Or does JayKay hide them under his hat?
How on earth did you come across them, bear? |

legend tells, that the first version of synkronized was almost finished when jay and zender decided to take seperate ways in life (for whatever reason)
jay was so angry, that he said, they will not going to use any of the songs where zender has been working on, so they started again.
i found these two clips on the internet, but don't ask me where. i can't remember. probably napster (the good old times...) _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

What about money!
This is the first time in my life I wished that money would actually rule the world!
Just think about the money that Kay AND Zender would make if they agreed on releasing the former version of Synchronized.
So money does not rule the world but PRIDE surely does!
I still am very surprised about the fact that Jamiroquai managed to write 2 albums within a short time. That's a performance!
I am very curious about how the first Synchronized might have sound like. |

those 2 unreleased song clips aren't too hard to find. i have a feeling jamline has them under its multimedia section.
the Azur project seemed very promising but it's sad to have that put on hold. that Azur clip on jamiroquai.com is fantastic... it's devastatingly short but i've been playing it over and over again - it's the catchiest 15 seconds i've ever heard! |
