no offense to yer or whoever made this site, but it seriously isn't accurate. Only 1 song by "Earth, Wind & Fire"???? no songs by KC and the Sunshine Band???? get real.

for a real disco site, go here. very accurate charts and you can sample some of the songs in MIDI and real. the MIDI types sound soooooo corny.

What the hell are you doing attacking my site with misinformation? YOU VISITED ONE PAGE ON MY SITE BUT THOUGHT THAT WAS ALL I HAD? I have a much larger list of disco songs than 70disco.com - I have over 3,800, compared to his several hundred. Plus I list Jamiroquai and Brand New Heavies songs and he doesn't. I don't see Jamiroquai listed at http://www.70disco.com/discoband.htm I don't see Jamiroquai songs featured in his top 200 list. Nor in his 70's Charts lists because those are from the 1970s not the 1990s or 2000s. Only I have a full accounting of disco songs from the past 2 decades. Plus I update weekly and he doesn't. And I list all K.C. and the Sunshine Band disco songs at year-by-year pages like http://www.discosavvy.com/disco76.html
At http://www.discosavvy.com/disco79.html I list Earth, Wind and Fire's disco releases from 1979, "Boogie Wonderland" and "Can't Let Go". If you actually had paid attention you would have seen that http://www.discosavvy.com/bestdisco.html is a list of MY FAVORITES, not a list of all songs there are. "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire is a personal favorite of mine while "Boogie Wonderland" and "Can't Let Go" are not. And what "isn't accurate" about my site? I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND A SINGLE ERROR ON IT!

discosavvy! I've visited your site before and I thought it was really good. there's definitely no denying that you are indeed disco savvy and you've got every right to defend yourself and your site, but there's no need to do it so fiercely. This is a place to chill so let's try and keep it that way... Cool

OK man, thanks for the apology, all is forgiven. I realize the list of favorites is long, but only a small number of them are in bold (which means that they are songs I could recommend to anyone). The other couple hundred songs listed there are also songs I like, because they have good sound and good songwriting etc., but they are not the best of the best. This is out of a total pool of over 4000 disco songs, so it's still less than 10 percent of all of them.

To summarize:
Bold favorites = songs that I like the most (about 40 songs, that is one (1) percent of the 4000 total)
Non-bold favorites = songs I can listen to every day and get something good out of it

And I like many other songs that aren't listed there to a lesser degree, but they don't hold up if I play them several times in a row Smile and may have some weak elements. For instance, I like all of Barry White disco songs, but I couldn't call any of them my favorites except "What Am I Gonna Do With You?" and perhaps "Honey Please, Can't Ya See?", though I only list the first one. And Chic is my favorite band but I don't list all their songs in my favorites either, because I'm selective.

It's cool that "Diego// Twenty Zero Three" on January 9th saw how I mentioned Jamiroquai's inclusion in "Sex and the City" Smile
http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1244

And "LLCoolJR" on January 11th discovered my site at http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2166

Wow, you guys are all over my site and it's just the start of 2005! Well, happy new year to all of you, and let's hope we get to hear more from Jamiroquai soon.
