i am very sorry about slanderous posts that are going on about jamirofan2000 but im here to say i didnt write that supposed "slanderous post" about jamirofan on funkin which i cant even see was rather done by sumone else or my friend who was on this p.c earlier on today i will now makesure nothing like this happens again i am a pashionate jamiroquai fan and dotn wanna see sumthing like this happen im sorry for any inconvieniance i caused to jamirofans around the globe but just saying here that it wasnt me  if u look back in post history i posted with jamirofan and i enjoyed his posts quiet much jamirfan could second me for this i hope! |

I don't know who was behind your computer when those messages were posted. I've seen matching IP numbers, times of posting and some other indications and I connected the dots!
The user was insulting people and if this continues, we'll ban the user! Regardless who was behind it! So, change your password and watch out that this never happens again.
David will take care for the guestbook soon! |

 Uh, there's new insult messages on the Funkin Site Guestbook about me, weird, I haven't seen any . However, thank you for your PM Todd, I accept your apology, for whatever your friend posted about me, believe me, I've had worse said about me. I don't think you will banned, from JamiroTalk.net or the Guestbook (Is that possible?!?), just have a little more discretion when you leave your comp, make sure it's all closed up so no one else can log on in the future and repeat this...if it happened? yes is posible... this PHPBB forums hav IP blockers... and you can do it...

OH man! What news I'm reading! Sincerely it make me very sad, because on the old times funkin's guestbook was a great way to say you want about jamiroquai. But today, many people take out the jamiroquai bandmembers' names and post curious or ridiculous posts.
Lamentably, David can't control that due the number of messages per day, what I understand. Anyway, we got Jamirotalk, and I'm hoping the nice vibes continuing here for many many time.

Yeah man, guestbook unfortunately isn't what it was anymore.
Ok, for all those who are wondering what we're talking about, those insulting posts from guestbook and here are of course removed and stored!

but to block someone from posting messages on Funkin.com ? i dont see how thats possible? even if u could block IP addys doesnt someones IP addy change everytime they log onto the net? if they r on dialup? how would it be done? |

if you have static IP, the number's obviously always the same.
If you have dynamic IP, the number changes every 24 hours but not completely! Usually only last few digits change, so you can block a series of numbers.
Dial-up modems get their IP too (from series of numbers) but I don't know if it changes every 24 hours or does it change every time you connect. |

yeh... i always used to check my IP heaps when iwas on dialup... and it used to change everytime u would reconnect.... but yeh i think it was the last few numbers of the ip changes.... but can someone have the same IP address as? like but at different times? ya kno... |

At this moment, there are not two same IPs on the world. The IPs on one user is circlying so after some time, you might get the same IP number and yes, it's also possible for someone else to get number you had once. |
