Jam in Turkey 2003 - question for sedaquai
Hi sedaquai,

you've told us that you've been to the jamiroquai gig in Istanbul on 20th september 2003. We knew that it was the first (and last?) concert with the new bassman "Alex Meadows" after Nick left the band. We still don't know nearly nothing about that concert and I am still curious about a detailed review about the concert.
Maybe you can still imagine some facts from the show? Maybe you have been close to the stage and can tell us something about ALEX?

We don't know if he will tour with the boys (probably not) but he did some tunes on the new album (Black Devil Car) so it's still interesting to learn something about him, in my opinion.

I hope you can enlighten us a bit! Wink

Well in Lörrach we were searched to the bones by the unfriendly Shocked and touchy Embarassed guarding staff, no chance to get in with a "normal" camera. If I ever will win in lottery I will surely buy an expensive flat and small camera..more easy to hide. Cool for the next concert.

But for me it was more annoying, that you even weren't allowed to take plastic water bottles inside...so that you could decide on the place only to get real thirsty for the next hours or loosing your good place to get a drink somewhere Evil or Very Mad
