I was thinking exactly the same Mtey!!
In my mind I think of late spring as May time. If the album is still having final touches put on some of the tracks I don't think we can hope for anything as early as March time although I guess till we get some concrete news & dates we can still live in hope! |

Hi all! I haven't posted here in AGES. As it is..I only posted here about 2 times in whole
Anyway....
Ugh Ugh UGH!! I was so excited today to see there was an actual update. I didn't think it would happen but am very dissapointed to see phrases like "a few final touches" and "deciding on a single."
I feel like I've been hearing the same stuff for a year. Ah well, I'm sure I'm just repeating things that have been said a million of times on the board already.
I guess all I really care about is that they come to Stockholm once they start touring. Otherwise nothing is stopping me from going to England to see them! If I'm going to live in Europe I sure as hell see Jamiroquai live! lol

For info, Charlie Roberts isn't around any more. He was working for the company that hosted the site but he's gone back to uni or something. I'm now the one keeping the news up to date.
Although there's not a great deal of firm information or dates in the news, this is unfortunately as accurate as things are at the moment. With regard to releases, I believe Sony are the ones who have control over that, and once release dates are determined, then I guess Jamiroquai management can start to confirm tour dates.

Yup, that was the last mail from the official site. Don't worry, we're going to make sure the messages from the official site are a little more frequent from now onwards.

No big deal, I've been enjoying too many new House releases to even notice that Jamiroquai has their collective thumb up their ass. IMO I think the lack of a concrete date signifies that there could be some issues with the record company... perhaps they weren't pleased with the songs the band put together initially. |

Hello again,
Oh really David? Wow, didn't know that, thanks for the clarification. In regards to Jaydub, good idea mate, I have been doing that for the last 3 years. That is, listening and supporting my other favorite music artists during this long wait. It's a great way of not driving yourself into a Jamiroquai paranoia and keeps the stress level at a good level. And 2005 should be a much more amazing new music year more than last year! Thanks for listening and by the way, Jaydub, is there any new House artists you can suggest, I have been meaning to immerse myself into some new techno ! Peace!
Sincerely,

Certainly. Here's a few CD's I've been really enjoying lately. They aren't all brand new but I think fans of AFO will find something enjoyable in them.
Sander Kleinenberg - Renaissance Everybody
Jay-J & Miguel Migs - Defected In the House
Miguel Migs - 24th Street Sounds
Jay-J - Loveslapped, Vol.3
Erick Morillo - Subliminal Winter Sessions |

Hello yet again,

Oh cool, thanks mate, I will check them out when I can, but remember, living in the states will probably limit how many of them I can check out ! Thanks again for the suggestions Jaydub, I know my ears will be buzzing soon ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
