Seriously, why should such talent and ingenuity go to waste !!!

And look at the money it would spin too !!!

What . . . I mean the coffee table book entitled Tune Stories written by Jamirokaki and the comic strip cartoon series created by Jamirofan2000.

Can this be suggested official to the Jamiroquai commercial machine. I don't think Sony would be into it and I would like to them making a profit out of it. I am sure that it could be viable.

What do you think ???

"The Chance meeting of Stu & JK!" (New Parody)
JK, dressed in a nice white Versace suit, stares endlessly out of the window of his limo, as it proceeds to a post Sony/BMG Conference party. The limo turns around the corner and drives up to the entrance of the party, the driver steps out of the limo and walks over to open the door for JK. JK exits the limo to a parade of paparazzi flashbulbs, JK enters the party. JK observes a packed house, finely dressed ladies lightly chirping on their cellphones, men in fine suits sipping their champagne & busy party servers walking around with appetizer plates filled to the brim with tasty concoctions. JK hits the bar and orders a cocktail, he walks around the party schmoozin' with the Sony executive elite, secretly humouring their individual lacks of funny jokes.

A man bumps into JK from behind and causes him to spill his cocktail. J turns around and recognizes his former bandmate Stuart Zender, dressed in a tight black suit. Stu greets, "Whoa, JK, how are you mate, funny to see you here!" JK raises his eyebrow and answers, "Hmmm...are you are?" Stu gives a look confusion and says, "Cor, it's me JK, Stuart, your former bassist and according to your songwriting 'King For A Day'!" JK winces and replies, "Ah, hi mate, sorry I didn't recognize you, how have you been?"

Stu happily announces to him, "Oh mate, everything is extremely great, my 'Leroy' album is nearly all mixed and ready to blow all your Jamiroquai fan's minds!" JK smiles and says, "Oh really, that sounds fab mate, you got a record deal for it?" Stu answers, "Oh yeah, we have had offers from every label, we should have dry ink on a deal by March!" JK gives a wry smile and questions, "I can't wait to hear your bit of vinyl mate. So, what are you doing at this Sony function?" Stu, looking around, points and replies, "Oh, a old friend at the label invited me to this shindig....by the way, I was at the conference, the new Jamiroquai stuff is great!"

JK snorts a happy chuckle and answers, "Oh why thank you Stu, really appreciate it, do you really like it?" Stu's originally happy face scowers and says snidely, "No, just jostling your primrose bush mate, I think 'Leroy's' debut album will blow your 6th album out of the water!" JK frowns and replies, "OI! You think so? Well, how about a friendly wager if your so sure!" Stu, a bit curious replies, "OK, what are we wagering for!" JK explains, "Well, if our album outsells yours, you have to guest appearance on our upcoming Jamiroquai worldtour!" Stu, full of confidence replies, "Hmm, that sounds fair, and if our album outsells your new one?" JK, rubbing his chin answers, "Well, then, I will guest on any date of your tour, that fair?" Stu smiles, shaking JK's hand replies, "OK, your on, by the way, where is Denise?" JK says, "Oh she's at home, she couldn't come."

All of the sudden, Denise walks up and intentionally bumps into JK, causing him to drop his second cocktail. JK swings around in utter surprise to see Denise in a red sequin dress swooning with Stu. JK, in total shock questions, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE AT HOME!" Denise smiles, entangles in Stu arms and says, "Oh love, you were fun while it lasted, have fun alone with your 'Little L'!" Stu and Denise walk away as J tears up into his cocktail.

Laughing Hee Hee Hee Laughing! I know, I should have had JK swinging at Stu, but as always, Stu and Denise get the rug pulled under JK! Thanks for reading my latest jape! Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Moonshooter, these Addidas shoes are the only ones that I have ever found appealing to the eye.

I could never envisage myself wearing a pair though, I'm a Nike person with ASIC tendancies.

It's a very ingenious alteration that you have created, full marks mate !!!

Stu is meeting with Derrick McKenzie in the next couple of days to chat about things as they are still friends.

Derrick claims Jamiroquai have still never found a suitable replacement for Stu. Cool

Interesting merrsaj. Please keep us informed as soon you hear something from Stu! Every little detail is appreciated! Wink
We fans are like a dry sponge - we are absorbing every little drop of news! Laughing

And that comment of Derrick, that "they have still never found a suitable replacement for Stu" sounds if they haven't been satisfied with Nick, hm? 2scratchchin

yes they haven't.... try first to listen some songs with Stu, and then try the same ones with Nick... see the differences... for example Travelling Without Moving of Phoenix, and the other two versions of WoodStock and Montreux 2002... but i can say that Nick did good jobs in Alright in Montreux 2003, Main Vein of Verona... and loads more...

not satisfied...after having him as bassist for 5 years?? sounds suspect to me. [what's the source for this info?] i bet any 'poor replacement for Stu' comment has more to do with the fact that Nick left the band right after their great summer 2003 gigs, effectively killing any momentum they would've had going into recording the next album. of course we don't know the circumstances of Nick's departure, but [conjecture] I can see how the rest of the band would be, well, 'displeased' at the timing.[/b]

The source is stu telling me so after speaking to Derrick... Stu himself said he found this hard to believe...
