Who would you like to see Jamiroquai singing with live?
hello, guys. i was asking myself these the other day... who would i like to see singing with Jay on a Jamiroquai concert? It doesn't matter if it is a dead or an alive singer.
my choice: stevie wonder! i think i'd die if they come to argentina and stevie is "the special guest" _________________

I'd like to see a Vs contest between Jamiroquai and Earth, Wind and Fire...
In the left corner, The full-static band: Jamiroquai! (only JK moves in this band)
In the right corner, Earth, Wind and Fire, the dancing guys! singer, bassman and guitarist dances a lot with their two dancing ladies....
Jamiroquai with Sola Akingbola!; Earth, Wind and Fire with Maurice White, Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson and David Romero as percussionists!
Jamiroquai with Jay Kay; Earth, Wind and Fire with Maurice White, Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson, Carl Carlwell and Sheldon Reynolds as singers!
Jamiroquai with Rob Harris; Earth, Wind and Fire with Sheldon Reynolds as guitarrists!
Jamiroquai with "no bassist yet announced", Earth, Wind and Fire with the amazing dancing Verdine White and great Player too as bassists!
Jamiroquai with Derrick Mckenzie; Earth, Wind and Fire with Sonny Emory as drummers!
Jamiroquai with Matt Johnson; Earth, Wind and Fire with Mike McKnight and Morris Pleasure as keyboardists!
Jamiroquai with no trumpet, saxos and trombones talents; Earth, Wind and Fire with Scott Mayo, Reggie Young and Ray Brown as Saxos, Trombone, and trumpets!
heheheheh i've destroyed Jamiroquai at all...
but Jamiroquai had the same musical potence in the first three albums, the bootlegs of EOPE, TROTSC and TWM are great! and we can make comparisons! they're great! but as all the things i saw in the AFO tour, Jamiroquai is not as great as Earth, Wind and Fire is... or was in their best moments!
Just check out the Montreux Jazz Festival 1997 with Earth, Wind and Fire, and you'll see what i am talking about! the solos are great! and it's very funky! as most of the songs in the first three jamiroquai albums!
i want Jamiroquai to release a great album, and Derrick said: "we returned to our roots" or something like that, hope those roots are not from AFO album...
Earth, Wind and Fire is a very instrumented band: three percussionists? musicians dances? amazing solos? all the musicians plays another instruments of the band? hehehe in the DVD of the EWF concert at montreux 1997, there are some clips of the concert of 1998, and the last clip is a bass solo, there were two bass players, the first one was Verdine White (original bassist) and the second bassist was Morris Pleasure (he's the keyboardist of the band), so, it still amazes me!
Bye guys! _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

If they picked a good song, how about JK with Alicia Keys in some sort of duet? It would be more unsung in the U.S. than her duet with Usher, but I think if you icked the right song they could be a powerful duo. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

JK singing with someone else... I don't think he can make it without trying to take all the attention... in Main vein I expected more of Beverly Knight... in Bad Girls... he was not synkronized with Anastascia...
really dont know... I think the "baby baby" "uh oh" "don't you know that..." wouldn't give other artists enough space. _________________ We're going to a funktion yeah yeah yeah |

jay could do a duet with anyone who:
1) has a hugely dominating voice, like jay's
AND/OR
2) is slightly flambuoyant, like jay.
example: when jay and anastacia performed, anastacia didn't seem up to it (she seemed flat and not a good performer), but jay seemed a bit pissweak too (i refer to the british music awards).
but if jay and stevie do a duet, that would be a dream come true.
arguably the greatest voices right now going at it together in a song. beaudyful. |

Why not a duet with Brandin Boyd from Incubus or Gwen Stephani ??
(my favorite modern voices at that moment) _________________
