i don't know what Plage means... well, i know what this words means in german, but that doesn't make sense either...
but could it be, that it means, that there is some dvd-rom content, that is only accessable when you are using a dvd-rom-drive on your computer (like connection to a certain webpage and stuff like that)
this is pretty common with dvds these days, so i could imagine, it is stuff like that

I wanted to wait until  Christmas ... forget it!

I went to the sanity store today in perth and they told me the release date for the DVD Live in Verona is 18th November, less than a week! I preordered it...so i dunno what everyone else thinks. its definetly not november 4th or 11th...

 It is soooo sad.. I'm the only one without the new DVD I fell so apart from this forum... ..... Well, I live in US.. so the "live in verona DVD doesnt work in here... I'm waiting to see if sony decides to make a dvd that work in here.. but it is taking forever.. I don't want to wait so long.....
QUESTION : If i have a multizone DVD player.. will it work ???
I fell so stupid..

Well Cuafo, I think it just might work that way. but i'm sure that in no time you will find copies of the dvd on the net. If not, maybe i can figure out a way to copy it onto a video cassete (or are they different aswell ?) and send it to you in the US. i don't want fans missing out!
sony need to be more considerate!
oh god its 2.35am and i'm up downloading jamiroquai videos.

1. yes, there is a difference in the video-system as well. it is actually the same as with dvds (pal/ntsc, 50Hz/60Hz) but in order to copy a dvd onto tape the macrovision has to be turned off on your dvd-player.
2. a multizone-dvd-player will play every dvd, no matter what areacode the dvd has, BUT as you are in the US you want to check out if your tv is 50Hz-capable. otherwise the picture will only be in black and white, unless your dvd-player is able to convert the pal-signal into an ntsc-signal
and on a more serious note (speaking as a moderator now): i know, that it's pretty common to download stuff from the internet these days and i don't want to start a discussion about legal/illegal things. but no matter what you plan to do - copy the dvd on tape, rip it and produce vcds from it or put it on the internet - please don't discuss this in a public forum. the owner of the forum are responsible for the content of the forum and we will have to edit your threads for that. but remember - there is always a PM or an email-adress
