Davina, I am very bad in geography, but isn't Thailand near Malaysia?
Will you again travel in order to dance with jay on stage?

yes indeed CosmicMouse, thailand is the country just above malaysia. the band goes to singapore, they go to thailand... but they don't go to the country in between... how unfortunate is that?!?!
man, thailand is so friggin close but yet so friggin far. would love to go over there, the ticket price for the moshpit is so unbelievably cheap... just about half the price i paid for for the singapore gig!
but parents definitely say no coz
1) no friends/relatives living there (which my parents find necessary as they don't want me wasting money on lodging),
2) they are terrified that bad ppl there will kidnap me, drug me, shave me bald and force me into prostitution and
3) my final exams are around that time.
but my sis's bf loves that place, he can't wait to go there again soon coz of the shopping.
oh why do you even bother making blueprints of your escape davina, the pathetic little scuzlump who can't even make herself a bowl of instant noodles...
so yeah, very unlikely to join the guys on stage again... and i was hoping so much this time to kick jay off and steal his mike...
"HIT IT, BOYS!"
*imangination bubble popping*
*reality kicks in, davina sulks in corner*
anybody with better luck? |

gosh, i wish i would be able to go to one of the gigs either in thailand or australia. but i guess, even if i sell everything i own, i would not have enough money to go... well, maybe we are lucky and they will have another gig here in europe... okay, okay, i'll be realistic.. but one can hope! ;)
davina, i can actually understand your parents concerns even though it does suck indeed! but i wouldn't want my daughter to travel to another country on her own (not that i have a daughter... yet)
but can't you ask a friend to come with you? two or three would make the trip alot safer. _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

cosmicbear, the problem with bringing friends is that i don't HAVE any malaysian friends who like jamiroquai!
i'd never think of going alone... but at the same time i don't think my parents will trust me going with friends either... well, at least with people they haven't met before.
there's this guy in my college, he's like, the ONLY guy in college who wears a jamiroquai t-shirt (and an EOPE one at that, too! how the hell did he get that!?) he's a super nice bloke, and i say hello to him everytime i pass him. but it was only today when i went up to him and had a nice proper talk. i told him about the thailand concert and he said he'd definitely love to go. he went to the singapore concert too (but i don't think he recognizes me at all, thank god! hehehe) and he said he won't miss this next one for the world...
i'd love to go with him... and he'll most probably go with his friends. but he told me he doesn't have any female friends who are fans... so for me to go with his gang, tis quite daunting... :P
wait till my parents hear about this! wait, maybe they won't... |
