Help with chords...
I don't know if I am in the right place since this is my first post in this forum, but at least I am putting the question out there.
I am looking for the guitar chords/piano riff...something other than bass tablature for "Spend A Lifetime". A friend mentioned that he liked the song and since he is getting married fairly soon...I thought that it would be a nice wedding present to play it at his wedding.
Normally I have a good ear, but I am being ultra-picky about notating this and I want to make sure that I preserve the integrity of the sound. I would appreciate any help that someone could give to the poor lowly new user here. |

i dont know the chords to it, so i can't help you there.
i know another great song along the lines of Spend A Lifetime called "Half The Man", it's from JMQ's second album (The Return Of The Space Cowboy), and it has the best lyrics out of all JMQ songs. really romantic.
you can get a music book with all of the chords to this album at any good music book shop, but you'd have to order it in. |

I'll have to look for the book and such, thanks for the tip!
I am trying to dictate it by ear to brush up on my arranging skills from school...figure I should try with a song that I like, right? I am trying to find a mp3 to midi converter, because if I can convert the song to midi, I can feed it into finale 2004 and it will notate the music. Not perfectly of course, but I can get an idea of what the chords are from there. |

Thank you so very much for your help with the "Spend a LIfetime" chords!!
Here is a URL that I found in reference to the ROTSC sheet music....apparently you can order it for twenty eight euros or so.

Let me know if this helps out, or if not, I can keep on looking for you. It's the least I can do! |

Here is another ISBN for a possible sheet music book lead...
1859092446...
Apparently, Warner Brothers Pub. has a ROTSC book out, but I can't find info on it. The ISBN for the book is above, maybe you can find it somewhere. I already checked on a few websites, but at least that is some information for you. I think that one might have piano parts and all included with it as well.
*still hunting* |
