Some More Official Stuff
As well as confirming another date for the upcoming European tour, the Webmaster at Jamiroquai.co.uk sent out the following e-mail today (about 5 minutes ago actually) which has a few interesting new pieces of info in it:
| Quote: |
Jamiroquai have a really busy year ahead of them and European festival tour
dates are currently being announced. Over the
coming days more dates will be confirmed and the first place to get the latest
confirmed dates will be at Jamiroquai.com.
The following dates for the 2005 Jamiroquai European tour have so far been
announced:
* 09 July - Nuke Festival - Austria. Tickets available from http://www.nuke.at
* 10 July - Moon and Stars Festival - Locarno, Switzerland. Tickets available
from http://www.ticketcorner.com
* 15 July - Lucca - Italy. Tickets available from http://www.ticketone.it
We are still planning more tour dates for the months ahead, so expect more
updates soon. Keep checking the news section of
Jamiroquai.com for the latest updates.
For those asking about UK dates, a full arena tour is planned for later in the
year. Stay tuned for more information.
In other news, the video for Feels Just Like It Should has recently been shot
and we were pleased to have world famous
director Joseph Kahn behind the camera. The video is currently being completed
and we'll have more news about it on
Jamiroquai.com soon.
Following the video shoot, which was filmed in Los Angeles, Jay took some time
out with friends, jumped on a motorcycle and
drove off into the desert for a break.
The band are now getting ready to start full rehearsals for the upcoming tour.
We have a new bass player on board, so there
are a lot of tracks for him to learn!
Finally, prepare yourself for some exciting changes at the official website
where we'll be revealing a new design shortly.

Hello Jamirotalkers
Yes, I got that email too. I think is good enough that the webmaster announces everything "soon", but I think is time to see something new: album and single covers, a full tracklisting of the album, possible remixes (God no!) and b-sides (God yes!) for the single, and the re-design of the site. Just my opinion.

Finally! But how long can he take to learn all the tour songs? I wonder if they are in a TV special and people ask the band to play another song (they look each other, and then all the members look at the new bass player putting this face ! Haha!). ---->

Yes, Joseph Kahn made good videos, but while he is doing the new one for the Backstreet Boys ... OMG!!!!!
Still, I hope we'll have something to LOOK AT "soon".

OK I didn't get that e-mail, but I usually never get e-mails from the "official" website, it never seems to work.
Anyway, If JMQ dosen't come to the States, that is a real bummer, and I might have to pick another band to be my favorite - or better yet start my own FUNKY BASS band !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe a website www.I'M NOT HAPPY WITH JAMIROQUAI.com
sorry but I can't fly across the world to see a band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Saw Los Amigos Invisibles in Sydney, Australia when they were out here in January. Man they rock!! They played at a Latin festival every nite for a week. I went and saw them about 5 times for free!!! Seriously funky dudes, I'm waiting for my Arepa 3000 CD to arrive! |

Hi. I understand your frustration. There's lots and lots of things being planned at the moment - tv/radio/concerts etc. etc. but nothing is confirmed or ready to be announced - that is unfortunately why we have to keep saying those horrible words! |

You Go Funkynic!!!
FOR REAL--- if you don't already know all of the JMQ tunes, you have no business trying to play bass for them, (refering to the new bassist)[/b] |
